Default Would this be considered a HOW-To

Well Hayward toyota has not been giving me a good service so i went to fremont and they manage to fix the gap of the moonroof . My moonroof does not contact with the rubber silicon like it should so it sticks up a bit. Well if most of you guys have this issue, heres what to do to avoid going to a dealer and dealing with their 'adjustments'.

1. Close the roof all the way
2. turn off the car
3. disconnect the battery for about 20 secs or so.
4.Reconnect battery
5. Roof should not automatically adjust
6. Open roof again and close it, should align like it should
7. enjoy the quiet sound of the roof

I believe that roof/window resets have been mentioned ina number of threads...
It's also in the FAQs.

Ya... the resets have been mentioned, but not usually to "fix" something other than disconnecting the battery.

If more people chime in that this is a known fix for the gap, we'll consider it. Otherwise, ya, it's just instructions on resetting the system.
