I have a 90 integra I could prob get around $2500-$4000, depending the buyer/luck of selling. Well if I do sell it, I was thinking of getting the supercharger, or just putting a big chunk on the car to pay it off quicker...

I put down $7500, and have made more on my payments than is needed. Right now my account says

Should I get the supercharger and just keep making my payments? My payments are only $170 something since i put so much down, but i usually pay $200-$220 a month.

I could keep making steady payments, or just put $3000 down on the car as a big payment and pay it off quicker, then add toys? Whatcha think?

How are you guys doing it who are going to get the SC?

If you arnt straining to make the payments every month I would get the supercharger. Boost is your friend.

 

your payments are very low... dont worry about them... buy the SC, and after buy it you still have money extra... you can make another payment...

 

I agree about not putting the money towards your car loan. But are you sure you want to dump all that money for 40 HP? Why don't you start with less expensive performance mods. With that money, you can easily get 40+ additional horsepower in other ways.

 

Or dump the same amount into a good turbo kit that will actually be worth the $$ in power.

 

Well, -IF- you only want the S/C, and are not even considering a Turbo, then I'd say get the S/C

Yea i would go turbo, but i am a warranty freak. I think people will be much more impressed by the SC once its released and ON a car. I will only buy it once I test drive one with it. Then i will think it terms of after the supercharger, i could add a header and catback exhaust...

Thing is my girl wants to get married soon and we've been looking at rings, and she always says bye bye ring when I talk about the SC. haha. Its really a stupid decision, but i want the SC so bad...im almost sure its under rated. And 40hp from a SC would feel better than power from intake,header,exhaust....

I just hope u dont have to upgrade your clutch and anything else after that...i just wanna have a intercooler and bov since people have said it works with this style SC:-D

i didnt mean I just want it for the intercooler/bov. I meant it like, I just wanna get those if I get the supercharger, because I love the look of a intercool, and bov. Its like having a turbo but a SC haha. I wouldnt buy it though if the intercooler wasnt functional and help out...

 

bah! just like a woman, always tryin to bring a man down with tricks and subterfuge. NExt time she says that,you should slap her in the face and say "look missy, if you really loved me, you'd be buying *me* the ring!!!!"
