I just go my xa in - last week. I was wondering what the first mod everyone did was. Have a lot that I want to do, just don't know where to start.

Any ideas

 

My first mod was... version 1.0 of my ground wires, cupholder LEDs, and red caps for the A/C controls. All for less than 20 bucks. My first real "mod" was a TWM short shifter.

theres two things i am doing this winter i never done b4.
1. buying a snow blower
2. not driving my car all winter ( got a stunt van for that crap)

My first were the short shifter, trd exhaust, and lowering springs.
Then ist grill and badges, now i am buying piece by piece the kenstyle kit in CF

 

my first mod was my exhaust, i drove it straight from the dealer to the exhaust shop

Mod #1: Lowering

I went with TRD springs plus the TRD shocks/struts. I know the consensus around here is that the TRD set-up doesn't provided enough drop, especially w/larger wheels, but I'm in the 15" wheel "minority" and I'm very pleased with the look I get w/the TRD's. Plus, I live in WI where snow clearance is on my mind Nov-April.

Of course, my "starting point" was an RS2 w/EP-10 alloy wheels. If I had a "stock" xA, I might start with wheels or spoiler.

 

First mod was Gold-Line springs. I have not had a problem driving in snow with a near 2" drop.

 

For me was Tein S-techs

then wheels/tires (also laying around)

and an air freshener

 

Why would you want an air freshener to kill the new car smell?

 

Headlights . .. tomorrow its window tint (all). . . and then probably lowering . .

 

I am new to all this, I was just wondering where to start...where do you buy this stuff online - like headlights and lowering springs and wheels?

 

The first mod on my RS2 was the DC Sports Front Strut Bar. However the first major component was the TRD Exhaust.

 

My first mod was also the DC front strut tower bar. Next round was my Hotchkis springs and rear sway bar(still trying to decide if I want to install the front myself or to pay someone.) I just put in my TRD short shifter today. And later this week i'm installing my Cusco upper ball mounts.

Mod2: OneTonGarage spacer shims and wheel shim (total of 15mm out)
