(photochop) http://www.camillafilms.com/images/wood.jpg HotBox 03-30-2004, 09:37 PM  sorry i just got the other woody :D KoonsAnnapolisScion 03-30-2004, 09:48 PM We have a Custom trim carpenter buying one of these for exactly that purpose. He says it will take the better part of a year for him to do it though. :( He showed me a sample of the wood (can't remember the name of it)when picking out his color and it is going to look SICK! :D dinkjs 03-30-2004, 09:49 PM I think you should save some tree's and some money and not waste time with something like that AKgoalie7 03-30-2004, 10:03 PM every mornin' when i wake up... mitchell 03-30-2004, 10:06 PM bound to be an applique solution...? one that wouldn't look too bad and save the trees? anyone? anyone? WagenMaster 03-30-2004, 10:07 PM I don't like it. It reminds me of the Honda Element woody I saw on the road last week... http://www.vwwoody.com/Products/honda_element/exterior_products/he001w/he001w-2-400w.jpg HotBox 03-30-2004, 10:13 PM every mornin' when i wake up... i know what you mean i have the same prob scionracerxb 03-30-2004, 10:19 PM I don't like it. It reminds me of the Honda Element woody I saw on the road last week... http://www.vwwoody.com/Products/honda_element/exterior_products/he001w/he001w-2-400w.jpg LOL, thats more of a "plastic-e" than a "wood-e" AKgoalie7 03-30-2004, 10:21 PM every mornin' when i wake up... i know what you mean i have the same prob not a problem.. but a blessing (not having to take viagra..ya know???) its_ikon 03-31-2004, 12:58 AM it would look good if done right, but i guess we won't know until someone does it. black or white would probably be the prefered color Bicepeak 03-31-2004, 01:27 AM Sorry.....but does the word "tacky" spring to mind? Sean LVXB 03-31-2004, 01:35 AM as if elements wern't flammable enough...oh wait did i just post that? elzy0000 03-31-2004, 01:37 AM why would you do anything like that. element, xb, pt cruiser... whatever ITS RETARDED nest 03-31-2004, 02:23 AM You know... normally I would call it retarded too, and on most modern cars it would look like ___. After seeing the photoshop job though, I am rethinking it. This could actually work on an xB, as long as it's real wood and not that vinyl crap and it's done right. It would cost $1000's to do it right though. No one could ever make a kit good enough to do it up to my standards at least. It would have to be a custom job. It would have to be on a dark green or burgundy xB to look right too, I think. I'd love to see one done that way, not slammed or on 19" blingin chrome either  it would look all wrong with the wood. Just with no drop or 1" or less drop and some tasteful 16" rims with a flat finish (no chrome bling-bling) That would be interesting.... :o TheScionicMan 03-31-2004, 02:58 AM NOOOOOOOO!!!! Don't do that to a Camo! Someone grab a saw and a crowbar and help me get that xB out of its Shipping Crate. That'll appeal to the same crowd that buys a Woody PT and we don't need any Boxes driving 30 in the left lane with the turn signal on... Torokun 03-31-2004, 03:11 AM I think so called "woody" goes better with lighter colors. It will look good on white. With that said, most of woody mod on modern cars are too fake. PT Cruiser, and even that custom job on Element... If it's done right, I think it will look really classy. What do guys think about this one? http://www.streetsourcemag.com/uploads/Ownerprofiles/SSM-WkdWgn/219200433913PM36901.jpg ShadowMage 03-31-2004, 05:02 AM that orange element actually looks really good in person. What do guys think about this one? http://www.streetsourcemag.com/uploads/Ownerprofiles/SSM-WkdWgn/219200433913PM36901.jpg That....is ugly! Plain and simple....just ugly. I like the idea of someone doing a xB woody! I think it'd be cool! The Element, however, does NOT make a good woody. :x 03-31-2004, 05:16 AM I just hope if a woody set-up comes out, that we don't look like the PT Cruiser. That thing is wierd. :? Djuan 03-31-2004, 05:20 AM All woodies could be ugly if done wrong... but do it right, and you got the old school look... And don't be dissuaded by people who don't dig it, some people just won't ever understand... sithscripter 03-31-2004, 05:25 AM http://images.snapfish.com/33%3A3937923232%7Ffp54%3Dot%3E2329%3D693%3D693%3DXROQDF%3E23234%3B9967%3B49ot1lsi My shop (DB Motorsports) designed this Element Woody...it is a true woody, has a nitrous express kit on it, 20" Rims, airbags and a pretty crazy system...what an ugly way to spend what they said cost roughly $20,000...not to mention the fact that the Element is fugly... Don't be too hard on your clients :D Personally I think they pulled off a miracle and made an Element look great. And I think a woody Element makes thematic sense, even more so than a woody PT Cruiser. BlueScionXB 03-31-2004, 06:09 AM Ya your right...I have just seen it som many times that I think that I have grown sick of it...oh well...to each their own... mitchell 03-31-2004, 01:06 PM anyone know who does this work in the new york area? HotBox 03-31-2004, 05:16 PM every mornin' when i wake up... i know what you mean i have the same prob not a problem.. but a blessing (not having to take viagra..ya know???) LOL true hahah I don't like it. It reminds me of the Honda Element woody I saw on the road last week... http://www.vwwoody.com/Products/honda_element/exterior_products/he001w/he001w-2-400w.jpg LOL, thats more of a "plastic-e" than a "wood-e" LOL it does look like a fake a$$ plastic vinyl. this only looks good on certain vehicles but it would have to be done right.. like the element that was is badass the accord wagon does not look good looks to fake and the colors do not go but thats just me W0X0F 07-10-2004, 10:14 PM Hey, If anyone is still interested in this xB woody, there is a customizer in Mt.
