I am looking to see how many people are interested in business cards for the club. The more people that we can get to order cards the cheaper it should be. For example if we get just 50 people interested we can cut prices in half. The printing cost for me is less then that but I do then have to ship out all the cards to each chapter. So this is roll call. We will have a couple designs available to choose from and the most popular will win. A couple ideas are 1 having a collection of xb's / tc's / & xa's on the front of the card but not getting too busy. Also having a list of club sponsors on the back of the card. These cards are full color front and back with a UV coating. They are 100 lb card stock which is real nice quality and you are getting them at my cost. Again this is just to see what the interest level is for these! It is great to pass out to people to get them interested in joining the club. If you have any other ideas for the card I would appreciate them!

Was about to make some on my own if we don't get some universal cards made up. I still miss opportunities almost daily on getting more people!

Yes! Business cards! I think at least 4-6 of these sets would work well here in the greater Seattle area... maybe more...

New York is gonna be an AMAZING place to get a lot of these out to. You're right in the heart of New England and border a bunch of states... Would love to see a ton head out that way (just order a whole bunch, split the cost among all the members and the split the cards out the same way)

OK and MN... you better know how well saturated your markets are with Scions...

and then just backups for everyone... At some point you're gonna run out and need more, especially if you split and everyone takes say... 500 or 1500 for example... you'll already have additional ones ready without reordering.

Jake's assured me that it's a LOT more cost effective if he can get 50 orders of 1000 to all process at the same time. Let's try to make this happen. He's got some great designs working now and I can't wait to see what he does to finish them up when he gets the more official logos, etc.

Has he contacted Shannon to get the official sticker type logo?

I can just send him a sticker logo for one of the chapters and he can chop off the chapter name.

That might be best. Not sure who Shannon is, but the only contact I got when I spoke to you on the phone was H82GoSlo and he hasn't heard back from him yet... I would say go ahead and PM/call Jake and see what the easiest way to get that to him would be.

With an area as huge as Houston you may want to get more. Even those that won't be as hyped about passing em out can go in on a pack or two of em.

Thats a good question...no one really knows...and im talkin to a almost sponsor right now for the houston chapter he said he would pay for our business cards if we put his website on the back of it

About ordering cards Brad is right the more we can order the cheaper it is going to be. I can order them at 65 bucks for a thousand for everyone here and that will include shipping. Shipping is the biggest issue though because I have to ship them out to different chapters and cant just ship them to one address! The more you order the better! I will make sure and get these out pronto so dont be afraid to speak up! Sorry this is a little jumbled I kinda tried cutting my finger off while cutting potatoes! I almost succeeded too! So the pain killers kinda affect my writing capabilities! lol. One thing I am not sure if people would be interested in or have heard of it but its called Spot UV which adds some sweet texture and look to the cards. It is a little more expensive but we are only talking maybe an extra 5 bucks per 1,000 ordered so not a big deal~ Realize that getting these cards cheap is only going to be possible at that low of price IF we get close to 50,000 ordered! If you have a problem with a few guys not being able to put money forth we can work out a deal so let me know! Basically thats it and the count is roughly up to 18,000 cards so everybody build up more peoples interest and speak up!

so whats the price as of right now $65 per 1000??

Prices right now at 18,000 will run roughly 70-75 a piece. I can do the shipping I was going to be able to cover for everyone if we got around 50,000 cards ordered. The boxes themself for shipping is $7 plus shipping on top of that. Now if we all could be in one place shipping and boxing would be eliminated and we would be able to cut down even lower around $50 a person! Now that would be great but its not the situation. Feel free to ask any more questions! I hope we hit our goal because I dont want to have to raise the price much if at all! Help me out all you can with orders!

We both agreed Seattle is in for 5,000. based on population it's an excellent starting ground. Scikotics HQ (OK and the like) 10000 would be good because there's som amny other states surrounding you.

Texas and NY are gonna be the big guns. Huge populations, lots of area to cover and depending on the city, LOTS of surrounding states.

Keep in mind guys, you can drop off a lot at local dealers and see if they'd include it with new Scion purchases...
OR BETTER YET, have someone create a "Welcome to the Scion Family kit" that includes price sheets from that dealer with all factory mods, info about Scikotics, a dozen business cards and info/cards (?) for club sponsors like Strup... Wow... I'm gonna get started on that one for up here. (I amaze myself sometimes!) :)

You can also drop these off at places like apartment complexes, skate parks, boys and girls clubs, community centers, gyms, auto parts places and mechanics... HAVE IT MENTIONED IN THE COUNTY BUSINESS JOURNAL OR PERHAPS A CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MENTION!!

Lots of ways to apply these besides just handing them out or tucking em under a wiper blade...

Let's make this happen guys! I want to ultimately spend less but get more out of this... I know you all do too!

so how does okc fall into this. how many cards are coming our way? anybody know? And does anybody else think 50,000 cards is a little unrealistic? Our club isn't that big yet. I know it will save us some money in the long run but it is taking so long to get to that goal and we are missing more and more opportunities as time passes. Just a thought though!

Very good point. I understand your position and you are partly correct. So far we have taken orders for 25,000 that is ONLY from OKC, Houston, and PNW. We still need orders from NY and any other club regions. Those of you who are listed in other regions PLEASE contact me immediately with questions and order info! If we can pull another 20,000 from just NY and others we are practically there. Lets keep this post at the top!

Well excuse my french but SHIBBY! I loved the straight jacket guy. I threw one together and it had him but I will toss him out and have one ready either tonight or tomorrow I have a project due this week thats pretty big so we will see soon!

Yes it did. I have been swamped with jobs recently and had to put the Scikotics cards on the back burner. The good news is I have a rough design for the front and will hopefully have a finished copy next week!! They are sweet and have a lot of little accents that make them stand out more to people. Thanks for keeping this up to date!

Awesome thanks for taking the lead and pushing it! See how many NY is interested in and we can order this week! Me and Brad sat down this evening and discussed the business card and overall its pretty good just a few minor cosmetic changes and we should be ready to print!

I'm liking the look of it once I nagged and got a tC added on the front...

Damn egocentric xB-ers and their "What's a tC?" attitudes...
