i got it thursday and i've put 100 miles on it aleady. and then my hatch started to rattle . so for everyone that thought maybe the rattle was fixed for 06 the answer is no. i still love the car though.

I bought mine 2 weeks ago....no rattle.....i dont think it is year specific...some just have it...some dont. So far mine does not.

 

once I tore the rear panels out it had it... put em back it still has it.

 

Weird w/ the hatch rattle, had my 05 tC for ~1 year, no rattle to date.

Make sure it's not your rear license plate thats rattling. You can do this by putting some felt tape behind the plate and also using some double sided tape between the plate cover and the plate, if you have one... I've found that the license plate rattle sounds very similar to the hatch rattle that I also had, but was fixed by the dealer. It's worth a try :-)
