Default Intake setup

Ok, for me it's between the Ingen short ram and the YDR.
Couple questions, I've seen pictures of the cork screw shaped Ingen intake, but I can't tell where the actuall filter sits. Can anyone post a pic or explain where it would be?
Also I am leaning more towards the YDR, does any one have pictures or know of anyone who has done an intake that sits under the head light and made a grille out of the fog light insert? I would like to possibly get a spare insert piece and make a grille out of it to let air pass straight through to the intake. And when it's raining out I could pop the original piece back in.
(I'd post a WTB in the classifieds for the insert but I'm a nubie with less than 50 posts!)
Any suggestions? THanks

Injen SR and YDR intake are twins. Both sit the filter right under the foglight.

Has anyone made their fog light insert piece into a grille for air to flow onto the sr? Does anyone with fog lights want to get rid of their inserts?

I got the YDR ... it comes with a KN filter .. the filter alone sometimes retails for 40 bucks ... it was easy to install .. the filter does sit under the driver side head light ... to make the instillation easier just remove the battery ... it took me less than a hour ... the thing really growls at about 4-5 k RPM's and the best part of the deal was the price ... $85.00 with 2nd day delivery .. you cant go wrong with a YDR intake .... if you need more info go to this link > https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...172&highlight= < OHHH and the idea about removing the fog light insert so that the filter gets more air would work .The only problem is on a rainy down pour and driving threw puddles watch for water getting into the intake.

I'm selling an injen intake for 110 bucks, the cold air intake
that converts to the short ram. it's not a show piece, but it
works.

YDR is the way to go, still have a few of these left. Only first the first gen though, not sure about the new one.
