Default Who else makes hub centric wheel spacers for the TC?

So there is a global shortage of H&R hub centric wheel spacers for the TC.

All I want is a 15mm and 20mm sets. That is all, nothing weird, but no.

I have searched and contacted virtually every listed distributor (to see if someone had a set at the back of a shelf) they are all waiting for H&R.

Don't even mention ebay, I found a set brought them only to be then informed they were on back-order (so i reported them to ebay ofr breaking ebay terms and conditions).

anyway...

I got an email response from H&R today to inform me that the 20mm will be on a crate due end of this month( give or take a few weeks). 15mm currently have no ETA.

So I'm open to quality alternatives. Does no one else make hubcentric spacers ?

I've searched, but I can't find anything.

Or should I just take the $200 the H&R would cost me and put them towards some rims with bigger (or littler offset)?

Eibach makes spacers but i've never seen any in person or met someone who used them.
www.eibach.com

you can get custom ones made from www.wheeladapters.com
they do good work. some of my friends have gotten custom 5x100 to 5x112/5x130 adapters made from them.

i'd look for lower offset wheels before buying adapters.

Yeah, I'm thinking I should just wait another month or two, and get new rims, new tires (get rid of teh potenzas before the NE turns into a fridged wasteland) and look at wider, with lower offset to push everything out.

BREAKING NEWS:

H&R Spacers in every size are available at most good retailers.

The container finally made it's way from Germany.

I just ordered a set of 15, and 20mm for the front and rear from Option Autos.

Now I need to pick up a set of BT Good G-Force as wide as i can squeeze them to go on the stock rims and my wheel setup will be to my liking.

All for a fraction of teh price of new rims. I like the stock rims too much to justify spending $700 on a new set.

http://www.optionsauto.com/

H&R are _the_ only spacers worth getting.

Manafactured in Germany to the highest German auto standards (which blow away the rest of the world in terms of **** retentive'ness).

The fact that I just waited 6 months for these things is crazy.

Can't wait.

www.OneTonGarage.com makes great spacers in 5mm and 10mm. They have some made to fit a 5x100, that's what the tC runs, right? They have some great info there too on why the universal sized ones should be avoided.:

Yeah I fogot about H&R not making 10mm ones. Personally I'd be tempted to go up to 15mm rather than donw to 5mm.

5mm is tiny, hardly worth it at all. I wonder what 15mm would do to a +40.

I'd also forgotten the fact that once you get below 15mm you're into flat spacers rather than the ones that come with the little lip that's supposed to make them uber strong (at least that's what it says on the tin).

you can get custom 10mm hubcentric spacers made from www.wheeladapters.com. I dont know if they sell the studs, but you can get longer H&R studs for $2.50 each (MSRP).

well the issue with the +40mm is that they are 5mm more in correct? atleast that is what i belive it to meen so i want a 10mm to move it 5mm farther then the stock rims witch are a 35mm off set

or am i just way off lol im not to good with wheels

makes sense to me... You could try calling: http://www.onetongarage.com/contact/index.html

Also, Gabe at PrecisionMuffler.com (Stylis on SL) was carrying some of the OTG parts. You could try contacting him.

this is wierd becuase I have some used H & R spacers at the shop right now, I'll have to double check what size they are and get back to you. PM me if your interested and yes I can get you all the products listed on the OTG website.

well if you're going to get 10mm, the your rims will be like 30mm.

BTW, I can get you the H&R spacers. Also, you can get KICS as well(far more superior quality than H&R).
