I put my Injen SRI in the same time as the EVO2 so I don't know what it sounds like without. I like how it sounds so far.

Default saging exhaust piping

Just installed the Greddy evo 2 exhaust, now for some reason its making the rest of the stock piping sag. Their is an 8" bracket/tie that the sagging piping now sets on, and is making a vibration sound, any suggestions on how to correct this issue???

Same problem here with the EVO II just loosen all the pipe brackets and prop up the piping with help probably and then tighten all the connections then perhaps adjust the rubber mounting holders on the factory hangers and fit it......the rattle noise comes from the rear evo muffler hanger banging the frame of the car....you can with brute force and a BFH adjust the fit and it won't rattle any more.........good choice

i love my EVO II and AEM intake combo Sound !!!

Default Thanks for your input.

Aera, thanks for your input. Isn't that bracket that you told me to remove to support the left and right side of the under chasis??? do you think it would cause damage in the long run if i did remove it?? I actually called greddy up, and they told me they had no problems with other people reporting the clunking sound fromt he sagging pipe.

also xBtoaster05 thanks for your input, i might try to unbolt it one more time and have someone push up on the muffler and pipping while i bolt the flange n tighten it. hopfully that will raise the piping a little and problem solved!

Thanks,
Kapil

i have the same combo too!! and now it got DC header on there, it makes it sound a lot better and more responsive, but my exhaust kinda melted the bumper lip cuz the exhaust would move to the right

Had that problem of rattle and melting, needed to tighten it up after about 30 days,
it must have had a break in period. I have the alphawerks header with my set up,
love the sound.
