Default Cupholder Lights and more...

Ok so I am thinking of doing the poormans cup holder lighting this weekend using the prewired configuration that I saw out here awhile back. But I also want to off the same wiring use it to connect a cathode 4" under each seat in my xA. Not sure exactly how this will look so I might be switching to go underneath the dash, but thought it might be cool under the seats.. you would see from the back as well...anyway, I would like to know how many leds and cathodes I should be able to run off this source. (thinkiing of one per holder and two for an experiement I am trying with the arm ret I purchased. I think the current wire is sending 12 amps yes?

Depends on what source you are speaking of, the number and part number of LEDs, and the amount of current you decide to run them on.

Realistically, depending on what you're wiring them into, you can run any number in your car as long as they're wired correctly.
