We have had it since March I believe. Maybe May. I forget the guy that sold it to us. It was the only TC on the lot at the time that was 5spd. And I forget the guy that sold it to us. He was an older gentelman, and I believe he wore glasses. I don't think he normally dealed with Scions, but he sold it to us though. Very nice guy. Wasn't a pushy salesman AT ALL. Yeah, I saw it before. To many factory options on it that will end up getting replaced. So, I think we will opt to go for another Black Cherry Pearl 5 speed, except this time, NO side curtain air bags.

It was the model before the Hatchback ones came out. So, basically Slow Si's. Even the Hatchback can't beat the TC.

What if you car is not totaled what are your plans?

If they don't total this car out, there will be some hell raising. But I guess we would have no choice, and just continue to build upon what we have. Rebuilding it would obviously put us into a hole. The exten of damage of that car is not worth the 16k left on the car loan. So, you can imagine the debacle that we would be in, if they decided to fix it.

Update....YEAAAAAHHHHH!!!! They deemed it total. :D Now they are going to take it to the apparisal auctioner or whatever you call it, and get it appraised to find out how much we are going to get for it. I'm so glad they deemed it total. Not Glad that it is wreck to begin with, but I would rather take a total than it be wrecked and fixed.

On another note, when the insurance guy that's handling the case comes back to work Monday.. :tap: They will let us know where we can go pick up the car, so that we can take it to a mechanic to get the parts removed (Tein H-techs, Blitz Nur: Spec exhaust, and I probably will swipe the ECU while I'm at it). I wish I could part out the wheels, but I don't have any wheels to put back on it in there place. Plus, we would have to buy it back from them if I wanted to strip everything and part it out.

More good news, my TWM Stage 2 SS comes in today....wheeee..

Yeah, it's been a sad week for me and my girl. She has been all depressed, cause she dosen't have a car now. But yeah, we are going to get the rest of the parts off. The intake is not salvagable. It was chewed up in the collision. There are pics of the wreckage on Page 2 of the thread intitled "TC in pieces". The thread is located in General (tc) section. But I will be getting the exhaust off, and hopefully all the springs.

Wazup peeps! Just got back from FL, so that's why I've been absent. We just checked our answering machine, and we are getting a new quote from the insurance company. They talked to Toyota Financial, and instead of the 14,8k they where offereing before, they are going to pay it off now. :P There might be leftover money after they pay it off that suppose to go to us. So, that's good news.

It aint dead, the weather just got cold and also Trav's car got smacked up. One thing I do wonder though, Im seeing more and more scions on the road going to and from work and wonder if they know about about scionlife. Ive seen a couple of tC's, black and bcp, a silver xB, and two xAs, a reddish and a silver one.

My tC is dead for the moment. I took off my calipers to paint them and now the bleed don't work any more. I have bleed the brakes three times but still no luck. I think that i might have to get it towed somewhere. grrrrr. anyone want to come over to my house this weekend and help me??? we could also install my new demon eyes. If anyone else has anything that they want to install maybe we could just have an install party. My saturday is free. Is anyone down????

removed just the brake part? I don't really have a garage so i took the calipers off the rotor so that they wouldn't just leaves and ____ in them while they were drying.

Is the car level while you are bleeding them? Did you start bleeding the rear ones first? And then the front ones? How many times are you pumping the pedal? And are you holding the pedal to the floor while the bleeder screw is cracked open and then shut?

the car is pretty level but not completely level. i bled them in this order rr, rl, fr, fl if your looking at the back of the car. my dad pumped the pedal 3 times and then held it down while i cracked the bleeder screw.

It's got pretty good pick up until you hit about 5000rpms, then it kinda just dies and sits there. I just hate not having my car. This Neon is horrible, it sputters along and feels like the tranny is about to go at anytime. I can't wait until my new TC gets here.

Now dont get me wrong, I HateD the neon I had as a rental (woulda picked a tC if I coulda).

Heeheee....Don't hate! You will get a kick out of my new grill I just finished last night. It's a mesh grill still, but with a little twist to make myself different than the rest. ZPI came through Nashville late Sun., so that's why I didn't call. They didn't get back through here until like 10 or 11 at night. I'm going up to KY soon though, need to get my springs back on.

Not aware of ZPI bro?.....Must be new huh? It's all good... :P. ZPI are pretty much the SOLE performance shop for Scion parts. Mostly specializing in TC's and WRX's. They are located in Louisville, KY. We just got back around 8:00pm today. It's now 10:10pm, and I'm posting when I should be resting. I have some pics and some vids of our upgrades.

Clayton came with us, and now our car and his car have reached their next respectable levels of modification. I will post pics and vid tomorrow afternoon.

The only problem we had that day was one spring we couldn't get re-aligned, took us all damn day. The other problem is that Cool Cars (the shop that did our tint) was aware that we wanted 20% tint. Well, they put on 20% tint, but only on the quarter and rear windows. The side windows are 35%. We did not realize this until after we had left thier shop and was back over at ZPI battling it out with the springs. 0

We wanted 20% on all the windows except the front windshield. So, I'm going to have to call them tomorrow to let them know that there has been a mistake, and that we want 20% on our side windows as well. I forsee the next trip being sometime in mid Jan., because we have Xmas next week, and New Years is actually my birthday :P I plan on getting the exhaust done then too. Anyone else up for a ride with us when we go then?

Lemme know when your goin, I might like to check em out. Gimme some lead time tho.

PS..Now you have to update everything, sig, profile, etc. with the addition of your new ZPI exhaust. Funny how when we were in the BCP TC, and had the Injen CAI and Blitz Exhaust (crappy piping), and you were stock with just the 18inch wheels on it, we would roll you on the interstate.

Now the tables have turned and you have an intake and even better than my custom piped Blitz, you have the ZPI exhaust, and we are stock. And now you roll us... :P

But this won't go for long, :no: You know me. Performance mods are coming real soon. Wish for us to be boosted :pray:, or not :P

My only question would be though, can you keep up in your xA :P On Average we were 80-85mph, with your ever so often 100mph burst the whole way there, and the whole way back (with the help of a neat little invention called a radar detector) :lalala: .

Well, I think the xA would be ok from 80-90, but other than that, Im not too sure I wanna try to make it do that (1.5L) I might have to drive the SHO (3.0). The secondaries dont open up on it until 85, depending on the gear of course.

Update for everyone. We did Clayton's tail lights last night, and they turned out good. I have done the first run on our tail lights, but I need some more VHT, which Clayton has an extra can that he will let me use.

Im trying to decide what to do next, either an intake or a header. I think Im leaning toward the intake for now but will keep you guys posted. Im also thinking of white lettering my tires, but I need to try it out first to see what it will look like.

Wife no likey... :nope: heeehee...If it was me, I would go with the header. You will get a better gain in hp and tq faster than with the intake. Then you can get the intake afterwards. Now if you were for some odd reason to go Forced Induction, you would have to scrap both the header and intake and sell them. We need a meet again, once I get the parts in for the tC. Yeah, Nick moved to the S/D, so it's hard for him to check the internet any. When we are done with the tails, we will be sure to post pics of course.

Im thinking of going with an intake for now. I know you said that the header would give more noticeable power now, but I plan on getting that later. Will be much easier to install the intake now and do the header when its warmer.

We should be hitting up ZPI in roughly a month (which is how long it's going to take to get the CF hood in). I washed the car, but like usual, it started to rain afterwards, so I didn't get any pics of the tails. I will do that soon. The only things we are waiting on now is the CF Hood (to be shipped) and CF OEM Fenders (to be produced). When we go up to ZPI though, you should come. Clayton is going to roll with us again. What's in line to get done when we get up there is..

^^The pics actually make it look darker than what it is. I tried it out on my corolla's euro lights first, before doing it on the tC, and my Corolla lights are BLACK! But yet to have a problem. The light shines through just fine. I will take a pic of them lit up to show you.

Hey, you should call that John dude to come down again, and we roll out one weekend.

Just thought I would give you guys an update. Misti just purchased a set of CF fenders for the tC today. ETA is 10 business days on them. Can't wait till they get here. Also, the AIT CF hood should be arriving roughly in about 3 weeks (month wait as we pre-ordered it). Then I will be able to install everything and the tC will be back in cosmetic appeal.

We will role like this for a bit, then add the RacingSolutions CF front lip to it (probably after we go back up to KY to get the windows redone, and the exhaust done). We are going to be looking RIGHT for the show here in April.

Little update for you fella's. We just got our settlement from the FIRST! accident (when the BCP was totaled). Needless to say we got a little money to throw into the tC. Combine that with income tax season money, and we are going to have one of the BADDEST! tC's in Cashville/Murfreesboro.

Anyhow, Spawnconnery...I'm not sure if there are any differences performance wise between the two years. If there is, it's to minute to notice. So, really the only thing you will notice different is the stereo, and the addition of stereo controls on the steering wheel.

I would LOVE to have the stereo controls on the steering wheel, but alas, I do not.
