just out of curiosity, why do all your posts end with a quote caption, but without an actual quote?
like this.
ncscion 04-01-2004, 06:58 AM i think he might have a disablity or something seeing as how he does that and it took him 3 1/2 hours to install a k&n typhoon.

snuppy 04-01-2004, 04:23 PM congrats on the self-install...
don't burn the guy for taking 3.5 hours... for someone who doesn't even work on cars, doing ANYTHING to your car (much less installing an air intake) is pretty damn gutsy... besides, we all know of people that don't even know how to check their own oil or tire pressure...
ncscion 04-01-2004, 04:27 PM true that, sorry dude for my response earlier. congrats and hope you will be doing many more mods in the future. keep um coming don't stop now. its addictive ain't it?
so I asume the exhaust system is what gonna get modified next, right?
scionspecialistvegas 04-01-2004, 06:12 PM Jessr thats cool, you did your own intake, now with the help of scion specialist and precision muffler you will be going low.
Gabe, I did a shameless post for both of us. Bill

Hmmm... where would one go for an exhaust system?
Me and zeek over here know of a barn just south of sac town that does them there shiney rice mufflers, I know they'll do you up good for a toads ___!
(Shameless hick plug)
scionspecialistvegas 04-01-2004, 10:40 PM Jere, we all know where the mufler and his springs are from the two shameless pluggers on scionlife. Did I mention I sell goldlines?
runforestrun 04-02-2004, 01:09 AM i think he might have a disablity or something seeing as how he does that and it took him 3 1/2 hours to install a k&n typhoon.
Man, that's MESSED UP! If you guys had met him, then you'd know. DANG!
the kid's only got one arm that's completely useful. his other arm was screwed up
in a pajama sewing accident. so give him some more credit.

KingLou 04-02-2004, 10:00 AM Hey......if it's shameless plug time.......
Are you looking to add an extra 47CCs to your Scion?
Cause I sell pocket bikes......and they fit real nice in the back.
KiL
did I mention also that I install springs and a manifold back system for the scions as well? :D
superjeer 04-02-2004, 04:54 PM All this plugging is out of hand! I got nothing to sell, unless someone needs a computer program written or maybe a chest of drawers... Anyone, anyone? Beuller?
xbchance 04-02-2004, 05:12 PM Great job man. Gives hope to the mechanically disinclined.
I'm thinking about putting the SPFR intake on mine and, while I consider myself an accomplished oil gauge checker, a world reknown tire pressure ascertainer and even--when i'm feeling particularly Spike TV'ish--a coolant re-filler upper... the notion of doing real work on my car makes me a wee nervous. Especially since it's so new and pampered. (Gently consoles the console:**yes you are!* yes you are!!**)
But hell, as long as there's instructions, I should be ok, right???

well after all the shameless plugs in scionlife it finally got to me...so I got something from stylis. hahaha I guess it works....I'll post something when I get it installed... hey stylis thanks again bro... can scionspecialtiesvegas be next?

squirrel 04-09-2004, 09:21 PM Jess, good job on your install. Don't listen to others when they want to clown about how long it took you to do it yourself. You have a nice ride, and you did something yourself. Some peeps fail to realize that not everyone is perfect. If you';re happy w/ the way it turned out, then that's all that matters. See you at the next meet.
