I just watched season 1 on DVD last week. Dude, that show is like CRACK! I kinda confused now because I missed the first couple episode of season 2..... :doh:

after they blew the hatch, there was a lab below with some guy in it that jack met in LA previously. there is a bomb or something down there that must be reset every 108 minutes.

the people on the boat all survived but they still dont know what happened to the kid. they were captured by who they believe to be "the others" and are currently being held hostage.

imo, she's not. did you see what the people dragging our heroes away were wearing?, skirts, jeans, heels, etc. imo, they are the tail section people. each group thinks the other group is "the others".

My first thought was cannibalism, but then that's too weird. Then I thought about the "sickness" that Rousseau mentioned. Then after the previews for next week, I think it might be The Others.....I don't know man...After totally beeing conned by last week's sneak preview with Jin speaking English, I really don't know what to expect!

Overall, it seemed like not much happened in the sense of big clues. It was just some soap opera drama and flashbacks.....unless I missed something? Did I?

as for clues, now we know that there's another bunker type lair on the other side of the island, where the tail section survivors are...that's all i can think of right now...i need to go to sleep :rofl:

yeah, i think Hugo's (the fat guy) friend did feel a little down after knowing that it was Hugo who won the lottery...and it tied up real well with his present situation in the island, having everyone ticked off at him cause he's having trouble saying no when islanders ask for food..

the symbol that's all over the bunker was on the shark's tail...and last week's episode kinda showed us why, as the island is used to do numerous experiments, and one of them pertained to zoology

I usually skip "Scenes from next week's episode" on most shows I like. The little clues can ruin the suspense/surprise. I'm going to start skipping the Lost ones again as they are trying to mislead and confuse and toy with us...

damn, i didn't know so many peeps watched this show. i am usually working when its on so i never got a chance to catch it. they actually had their season 2 premeire screening at the hotel i work at. since i never watched the show i wasn't really looking to see anyone. i did recognize the black guy from the matrix movies. man we had these outside action stations all set up andf then it started to rain like crazy. we cooked for about 4-500 people but they only ate about a quarter of the food we made.

I LOVE LOST... just dloaded season 2 episodes off of iTunes.... woot

I'm new to this show but im already hooked. I heard how good it was last season but never got into it because all I heard about was the infrequency of the new episodes. So right now I'm in the process of burning, ahem, excuse me, "making backup copies" of my friend's season one DVD's. I plan on laying into them full force this weekend to catch me up to season 2. I had a blast watching season 1 DVD...probably because there were no interruption for like 16hrs straight...or something like that!

I'm seriously thinking of just holding out till Season 2 comes out to avoid the weekly frustration...hahahah.

It's all about the network SWEEPS baby. They'll leave the faithful viewers hanging while giving everyone who missed previous episodes time to catch up, just in time to reel in as many viewers as possible when it comes back new. Personally, I was hoping they would leave us hanging more than they did... I wanted the whole episode making me want more, not just the 5 second teasers, this is why i changed the channel before the previews for the next new one.
