Does anyone know the benefits which is better for intercooler/charge pipes? What does ZPI and Dezod have in their kits? Does ZPI have a catalytic converter? I think Dezod has a cat on his kit, but are both the cats deleted?

 

We use thin walled stainless, we do not offer the kit with a cat.

Aluminum offers better heat dispersion, actually.

 

I've talked to some local shops recently, and they recommend aluminum hands down due to better heat dissapation, but it cost more and is harder to weld. I was planning to weld some myself, but I don't want to get a tig welder. I have a mig welder, but since this is a one time project, I don't want to get the argon gas just to weld these aluminum pipes.

So, if you guys had to do it over, would you guys go for aluminum piping?

The kits available seem to be steel pipes, am I correct?
