I'll take an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Would be a V12 Vanquish, but I hate that stupid paddle gearbox. Give me a normal manual any day, and since that's only available on the Vantage, that would be the car for me.

But really, I think my ultimate dream vehicle would be a motorcycle. An early-'50s Vincent Black Lightning, to be precise. Or maybe a modern recreation, the Irving Vincent, which looks just as good but makes a whole lot more horsepower.

im gonna have to go and agree with you on that one 604 hp, (except i would go witht he 2 door version) i saw these two cars in person back to back and both are absolutly gorgeous! but i was way more attracted to the 2 door. not a bad way to spend close to $200k lol. that car cost more then a bentley gt. i saw that in person too. (i touched it too lol) (i know i know im a :loser: ) but that day was magnicicant. lol

Volvo Evolove-Stock its at 350whp. But with addons and such it add up, I have a friend who is purhcasing one in Feburary. He gets a trip to sweden, the car completely customized for him and fitted to his liking. His car should be pushin 550whp AWD for $55,000.00. He will be the 3rd person in the U.S. with one.

wow all i can say is wow. i wish i had 60k lying around cuz i would so get it. its hot, fast, and safe! haha well as safe as a 550 hp awd volvo goes lol.

He's acutally sacarficing alot to be able to purhcase this car so more power to him but we were lookin on viper and vette fourms and they are actually in awe and scared of them 550whp AWD and still get 25mpg!

If you check out the site in detail there is a lot of good media on the car.
It shows the regular Aero (-300hp) run the 1/4 in under 11seconds.

I think Car and Driver and Road and Track are getting their hands on it to review it...then we will get a better idea of what this thing is capable of....

im thinkin the bugatti (im asuming yall are talkin about the 16/4 veyron, my personal dream car lately) would win, at least at an endurance or circuit race, not sure bout a 1/4 mile.... the engineering they put into the top speed handeling and performance (i.e. 3 diff driving modes with suspension height, spoilers, etc..) is unmatched by any production car manufacturers.... 256mph top speed?! crazy
Did you even research the SSC site? Though the #'s arent official SSC is claiming a top speed of 273mph.......
I know Bugatti is amazing but are their #'s offical? Have they been proven or is that just an estimate as well.

We will see though.
My vote is going with the Shelby......
Those videos they have on the website sound so mean....

yea there #'s are dead on... i think it was road-n-trac who tested it but im sure u can find it online... i did read up on the shelby but the #'s i saw were way off what u read.... what site did u go to? ...but i wasnt jus talkin top speed i also referred to how much stability and controll was put into the bugatti at top speeds.

Put my dream car -bugatti veyron- next to the last "worlds fastes production car" the McClaren f1 (btw veyron tops out at 256ish, the F1 at 243ish) ...let the F1 start the race first, let it get all the way up to 130mph before the Veyron starts and the F1 will still loose the race to 200mph!

Actually neither car has been taken to its top speed so no one knows it could go either way but id rather have the mclaren over the veyron.

Anyhow, I earlier posted my dream car was another 70 1/2 Camaro; should have never sold the one I had years back. It wasn't perfect, but sure was a blast to drive. Thought i'd put in a pic from the old days, when both gas & rubber was cheap, sorry for image quality it is a 24 yr old pic that was scanned ( apologies if not copied here correctly as well, still learning ). Had a chance a couple years back to get a toy again, but went the bass boat route instead of muscle car. No regrets on that; it helps that the wife has been modding her TC to bring some fun back in the garage..
