i have never heard of anyone calling a car "dub" worthy. you can get 20" or bigger rims and put the little "dub" sticker on your car with no one really hating. I have 22" on my suburban and wanna move up to 24".

there is a new magazine, maybe not so new to some, call "plush". their moto is that they never feature "stars" cars for the fact they they have other people them and just through endless amounts of money out. They only feature cars done up by individuals and mostly from the east coast. I read the mag to get ideas and maybe change them up some.

DUB means 20" inch rim. that's it. it doesn't mean interior, paint or anything else. it started from dub magazine, which is an actual publication.

no man u can get 20's in about any style/make you want from just about any company now a days. being "dubbed" only means you have a 20 inch rim or bigger regaurdless of the company that produced it

the term DUB was started as slang....for a 20" wheel. the magazine was published using that slang term and since then it is accepted as a 20" rim. regardless of who makes the rim. and DUB magazine does produce their own wheels...they are called TIS and it stands for twenty inches strong.

Then you got to add in the weight of the tire & I see a set up a good deal heavier then stock..

my pic's in my signature as a link, we had a hell of a time fitting the rims on but i had this benz/bmw/exotic car shop do it, the owners of the place bought two xb's, of which they hammers, grinded and squeezed in a set of 22's and 24's on them so i figured if anyone could mount my rims, it would be these guys (the xb's have since been sold) the shop was a pricy as hell, i admit that. But the car looks sick IMO, rides like crap, but the looks pple make when they see it!!! priceless :bow: :bow: :bow:

The term DUB does NOT refer to 20" rims or bigger. It refers to 20" ONLY. This term came about from a slang term for a certain amout of that green leafy Oooweee. Ever heard of a dub sac? As in not a dime but double a dime=dub. Of course double a dime is a 20 sac....so follow me here people 20 sac=dub....20"rim=DUB.
