I'm curious if anyone has tryed these new Volants. It's the first dual intake I've heard of please only respond if you have facts. Thanks..
I dont know the answer to that because its the only one I have had on my box. Sorry.
I'll try to get a friend to do a dyno pull to get exact hp. My guess is that its probably no more than 5hp tho'.
I got this one because Volant is suppose to be the best in the CAI industry (this statement is based on what I was told from a couple of different shops in the auto industry, so anyone reading who doesnt agree, dont start flamin me, its just what I have heard)
I also got this because everybody and their mamma has injen or aem intakes on their xb's.
I have only seen a handful of guys with volant. I like to be a little different
Took me and a friend about an hour to remove the factory intake and install this one.
I;ll try and get pics.

If I were buying an aftermarket intake, it'd be the Volant...
Having worked on a lot of equipment over the years, I'm no fan of exposed air filters. They're easily damaged, and as time wears on, owners pay less and less attention to them. Once it gets holed, then the engine is sucking dirt, with the results are sucking on your wallet...

^^That is a good point.
Volant is the only one I know of that has a box.
Also if you look at the pipe from the filter to the throttle body, its the shortest one I've seen with only 1 bend, which means better air flow. Great design.

Yah please the more pics the better. I'll be getting some sort of intake in the next two months don't know which on though. I was thinking of making a box myself but this volant seems to be right what I'm looking for.
