Default Cold air intake and voltage regulator

Hey Guys & Gals

I live down here in sunny , muggy Hot Florida, make sense to put in a cold air intake? Would a regular K&N filter work just as good for alot less money? How about a voltage regulator? Are they any good? I see a new one called aHyper Hot InaZma voltage system for $225, I just want to do a few simple inexpensive mods for more horses without spending useless $$$, I already have the Borla exhaust system.

injen short ram. cheaper than k&N and works just as great. voltage regulator is worth checking out. $225 is sorta expensive. check out the buddyclub system. 160 to 175 tops . it works great . also check out the perrin crank pulley.they go for around 150 shipped.you can find them at vividracing.com . but dont expect hugh hp gains with these little mods.

the reason why its called a cold air intake is because the length of the pipe brings the filter under the car away from the engine sucking air that is colder than whats in the engine bay(alot more effective the a short ram). I live in florida too, and boy its starting to cool off at nights. but my opionion shouldnt stop you from your decision. Goodluck with your choices grasshoppah

check the dyno test in the sticky thread..the SRI made the most horse power..the YDR is a dead ringer for the Injen tested
