Default WHAT'S THE BEST TC REPAIR MANUAL TO BUY?

I'm wanting a book to show me where everything is on the car.

A book to explain how to remove/replace parts and accessories.

Any positive suggestions?

The best one is a free one. Search this site, even this forum, there used to be a link to download the shop manual in PDF form. I have it but have no way to host it. If I find the link I post it here.

I would email it to you but the damn thing is like 60MB! My job would have a fit if I emailed something that big.

With extra special thanks to James (jmiller20874), we're in business. Here's the link (beware, it's ~78mb):

I agree the dealership has the best manual. I don't know about just buying one of them though.
I only have volume 2 and it's good for most DIY jobs such as installing header, exhaust, lowering, etc. and it has torque specs for nuts and bolts.

Volume 1 I believe is more of a trouble shooting flowchart which would also be good to have but the original poster only wanted to do simple DIY such as remove/replace parts & accesories so Volume 2 is good.

I also have the PDF file but it was not enough for what I wanted to do to the car so I bought the factory manual volume 2. It already paid for itself from the projects I've done for my TC. It might be enough too for Turbo or SC install.

Default What's in the zip I'm hosting

I thought it might help folks to know what's in the zip that I'm hosting, so here goes. I'm not sure which specific manual(s) it all entails, but here's the contents of the zip:

General Guides:
1) Scheduled Maintenance Guide
2) Accessories Pricing Guide
3) Standard Features Guide
4) 2005 tC Introduction Guide
5) 2005 tC Brochure

Installation Guides:
1) Rearview Mirror Installation Guide
2) Interior Light Installation Guide
3) Strut Bar Installation Guide
4) Security System Installation Guide
5) Supercharger Installation Guide

References:
1) Dealer Reference Guide
2) The entire Owner's Manual
3) Tech Training Manuals for:
a) Advanced Emissions and Driveability
b) Brake Systems
c) Noise, Vibration and Harshness
4) Technicians Refernce Guides for:
a) 2005 VIN Decoder Chart
b) "My Scion" Vehichle Fluid Specs

Repair Information:
1) New Car Features (78 files, pretty much one for everything)
2) Repair Manuals (for pretty much everything)
3) Service Bulletins (as of 2005.02.13)
4) Wiring Diagrams

The only difference is the steering wheel controls, radio and iPod connectors. Everything else is the same between models.
