anyone know where to buy a JDM ist TRD Header i found the pix of it and part number in a TRD catalog but i havnt the foggiest on where to possibly buy it from

not to sound like an ___ but what makes the ist header better than the xA's? if its bomb asser than maybe i'll look into it...

Personally I would never buy parts from the dealer. Especially after market ricer parts. You pay out the butt for them and its the same thing you could easily find on Ebay with some intelligent searching. (After sifting through the garbage first)

 

You can go to http://trdparts.jp/english/list_ist.html for the part number. The high cost is just not worth the TRD name. As soon as I can afford it I will be puting in a wrapped DC ceramic header. It is 1/3 the cost of the TRD.

 

its more so for the SHOW JDM (super rare)....clark....the dealership here on us soil sells em?.....interesting seeing as thou its a jdm ist part and not a us scion part.....rooster thnx but yeah thats where i found it already at.....i understand that i could easily go with a much less costly and more available header but its like people who go for true JDM rims like WORK, BRIG Ect... you could easily find a knock off for 1/2 maybe even a 1/3rd of the price why do this people ask?.....originality.....any schmo can buy knock offs but its the time and effort getting the rare part,rims,whatever.... that make it that much more sweet.....also i want to touch on this im not knocking knock-offs,other aftermarket companys or anything i mean i myself have been strongly looking into rota rims and ALL of them are knock offs....i guess it just boils down to personal choices.....sorry for the run on rant and such any help finding a place to order this from would be greatly appreciated.....thnx, Ziv

 

it isnt an ist part. it's the trd japan 1nzfe header.

 

really it isnt a part for the ist?....funny because i thought it was when there is a big picture of a ist above it and the engine code(1nzfe) is right next to it........NOW yes i understand it isnt SPECIFICALLY for the ist it can be used on any 1nzfe and i think maybe even the 2nzfe....could be wrong....but you cant say it isnt a IST part because it is but yes it is ALSO the part for other cars as well

Isn't that thing like $800, why you gonna pay that much for something like that? I hope you can find a used one at least. :D

 

if i converted the currency correct its $699.....im pondering it ONLY on the fact that NO other US car has it and only a very few in japan do too...but yeah im second guessing myself all the time on it....i guess if i cant oreder it anyways then its a no go for sure
