Default Carbon Fiber Engine Cover...

For those of you that have it. When I removed the old cover, it had foam rubber on the bottom side. The CF one does not have the foam rubber. Did you remove the foam from the old cover and put it on the CF one, or did you install it without it? How did you do your Install...

Thanks

I picked it up on Ebay for about $90. Added the graphics on it for $5.00

Sure, here are some basic pics. I do need to get more of the car as a whole. Kinda tough since whenever I'm done with something, my daughter takes off.

Engine bay

Leather installed

Amps and subs

Amps at night

Gauges and console LEDs to blue

Streetglows

Dropped oil pan to install turbo pan with oil return

The Problem I am having is that there is a Bolt holding on the Generator Cable to the left Side of the head. The bolt is on the Top of the Head, and is casuing the CF Engine Cover to not fit correctly, and since the OEM Cover has the Foam on the bottom side, it makes me wonder why this CF one will not fit correctly on my 06 TC...

Thanks

Who made the CF engine cover? Also, I'll try and see what bolt you're talking about and how my engine cover deals with it.. But, mine just sat down and bolted on. Unless they changed something on the 06...but I doubt it.

Streetglow LED's. Very durable, very low power draw and light up really good

Yea it would.

Actually, Yesterday, I took the stickers completely off and gave the cover to my brother to have it airbrushed on, then clear coated. The heat made the stickers lift up over time. I'm not quite sure what to replace it with....
