Default Under hood lights

has anyone put a light under their hood? like the kind you put under the body of the car? or any other kind of light for that matter? I've opened my hood several times at night only to not be able to see anything. If anyone has any pics, they'd be appreciated, also, how would you run the wire? and what type of light would be best?

We do cold cathode lights in blue on our TC from bill at http://www.scionspecialties.net. He is a sponsor on here and has a fantastic complete engine bay light kit in many colors.

Here is a pic at night (with header on)

I think so, you can email him and ask or I can help you where I installed mine. I think I actually put the first TC kit on mine, before he had the kit established for the TC.

Install is easy and the wiring is very good quality. It has a pin switch to operate the lights when you open the hood, fused line to the battery, etc.

Randode has some good kits as well from what I seen.

Here's my custom setup, just besbuy style cig lighter streetglow tubes custom wired to a remote relay to allow for on/off up to 100ft away.

I didnt even know there was a kit available, I found these tubes cheap on a yahoo store one night and said why not, came with like 8ft of cord on em, rediculous.
