I cannot get the stock pulley and crank to stop spinning. no matter what gear i put it in. secondly it's tight as a **** do i need airtools? cuz everyone states 30 minutes this and 30 minutes that. but they also say remove with wrench. argh.... and now posting this i sound like a non inclined idiot. but going off what people on here have said i figured it'd be a snap. any help please!!!!

Maybe try having some sit in the driver's seat and stepping on the brake w/ it in gear? Sorry, I'm not a pulley install expert, well, not any expert for that matter. I read it all in books.
you should stick something between the crank spokes like a heavy duty flat head or a small pry bar and brace to something basically keeping it from rotating while your trying to break loose the head .....hope this helps some
