I was wondering if anybody has heard if Toyota is making any rear spoiler options for the TC?

I was told during the unveiling in Detroit that there will be 2 options. A mild and a more aggressive one.

There should be a lot of aftermarket support for the tC though so there should be tons to chose from in due time.

I hope it's something tasteful, like this:

Seriously, if that wing (saw that for the billionth time now :D) actually had downforce, the car would pop wheelies all day long LOL... How would you steer a car that does wheelies?

For a good example, buy the Escudo in GT3 and tune it till it pops wheelies LOL...

i dont really care much for a spoiler since i like them without a spoiler. looks so much cleaner that way, but thats just me.

the lip spoiler will add nice touch to the car for a mild stock look. that will be great if they are going to offer two spoiler options

Having two options will make each part more expensive... Since they have to have two different machines or production lines making the different spoilers... It'll all add up at the end cost for the consumer...

I would suggest anyone that wants a more aggressive spoiler just go aftermarket... Stock spoilers would never have the agressive look of the aftermarket counter parts mainly because there is just no need for one...

Only cars that do sport such big wings are the likes of our old RWD cars and the new breed of AWD cars like the STi and Evo... Take a look of any auto maker and see which one provides anything more aggressive than a regular lip spoiler... I can't even think of one... Even if they are functional they are still a lip spoiler like the TT...

Anywho, I do wish you all get your wish since I'm not getting a spoiler for a car that don't need one anyways, but it would be nice to see some factory fit stuff as an option for those that want it :D

I am pritty sure the big spoiler fad is going out. I myself have always been a fan of no spoiler(on certain cars), or just a basic low one. Tc looks best w/no spoiler, or that real small one..
