Garage Door Opener Remote.....

My remote does not open the Garage Door from my xB....

My wife's remote works fine for her car....

I tried my remote in her car and it works ok...

Any suggestions?

Try your remote in her car (I didn't read that in your troubleshooting)

If your remote works in her car, I'd try to get fresh batteries and see if it makes any difference.

 

I tried my wife's remote in the xB and it doesn't work.

The problem started occuring after I got the xB a couple of months ago. We put in a new Garage Door Opener with 2 new remotes.... I changed the batteries, but it didn't cure anything.

Is there something in the xB that would conflict with a Garage Door Opener frequency?

I have never heard of this. You would think the transponders for the tollways would be affected too, but haven't heard of any probs with those. This is weird. Try from the back of the car...maybe something in the dash area causing it?

 

i guess there's maybe a paranormal energy going on inside your xB, or some kind of a magnetic field that forbids your remote from working.....oohhh creepy.....

 

I wonder if I will have to drive the xB through a vortex in Sedona, AZ ???

Tomorrow, I will shut the xB off before using the remote to see if that works.
