just wondering if anyone who has this deck has had any problems?
only major thing i noticed is with home burned dvd's and certain dvd's is i can't get it to fast forward to the next chapter. also noticed this happens on the ddx 7017. but when i had the 7015 i could get it to jump to the next chapter.

i love it also, just wondering if there were any other bugs or problems. i couldn't have imagined the 7015 getting better. but they did it. now i just gotta finish my center channel. i'm surprise not everyone has the 8017.
did you install yourself? i'm going to be getting the 8017, and i'm considering installing it myself even though i've never done a stereo install myself. what kind of modifications did you have to do get it all wired up?

sorry a friend did it for me. he made me a custom trim kit. but i believe others have bought theirs. and the only thing that's been a troublesome for me is that it seems to be more sensitive as far as how it reads dvd's. when i had the ddx7015 i had a bunch of dvd's i made that i could fast forward to the next chapter, but with the ddx8017, also seen it on the ddx7017, it won't recognize the chapters and you have to hold down the fast forward to get to the next chapter. like one cassette tape.
