Default Thanks

This is my first time posting and I wasn't sure exactly where to post this type thing, so after looking at other postings in the General Dicussion forum, I thought this would be the best place. I apologize ahead of time to the moderators if I was wrong.
Anyway...
I want to thank everyone here on the forum. I have been coming to Scionlife for almost a year doing research and gather opinions to help me decide which vehicle I was going to purchase and all of the posts I have read helped me in some way. And finally, after waiting a little over a year, I am going to be getting a 2006 Blue Onyx Pearl Scion Xb. My mother and I will be heading down to Camelback Scion on December 1st to put the buying process in motion and hopefully I will be driving by the time I turn 18, 15 days later. It was really hard waiting so long to be able to get the Xb, but on the brightside of things I saved a lot more money up for a down payment and time wasn't too harsh with all the topics on this site to read up on.

Thanks again and I hope to really be able to get involved with all the events that go on in Arizona when I get my Xb. :D

Congrats and welcome.

It's an xB, not an Xb.

Good luck getting it when you want, that may be tough.

xB.. got it thanks. I never noticed it that way before. I know its a stretch getting it that fast, but I can hope. I won't be devastated if I don't get it right away. Just the fact that my mom set a date to go in makes me estatic.

Woohoo! welcome!! I bought my BOP at Camelback too! service is great, straightforward, no bull ____ no game.

Don't get any opinions from the dealer! Just about everything can be gotten for much much cheaper with aftermarket parts or DIY installs.

You might want to go down to the dealer and ask if you need to put down a deposit. I'm not too sure how xBs are selling, but if its like the tC, you might want to do that. In the end, it might help you get your box sooner! Congrats and listen to what CKGuY914 said about the dealer opions. A lot of the mods I have done I did myself. You'll be amazed at what YOU can do by yourself! Also, lots of peeps here at this site have helped me out BIG TIME with some mods. Good luck!

The only thing I am getting with the dealer is the security sytstem and my mom is chipping in for that because she feels safer with that in. Her car and my grandparents car got borken into a few weeks ago so she really wants that option on my car.

OH yea.. and I already talked to the dealer about the deposit... Just need $500 and then after the car comes in I can use that money towards the down payment.

Honestly, for the same price they are asking, you can get a much, much better system. The stock system has no shock sensor, just glass break and door unlock sensors. Also, it doesn't beep the horn when you lock/arm it, which bothers some people.
