After getting bumped into a few times and having people spit on my car, I decided to get a garage. Sucks to have to pay to park, at least I don't have to drive in circles for 45 minutes looking for a spot on a Friday night. Also the car stays clean a lot longer.

Damn, it's like having to rent an apartment for your car. I don't blame y'all tho. I see so many broken side windows and so many piles of broken glass. I get paranoid when my car's not in the garage and I live in total suburbia...

I have to park in the street, which is a pain in the ___ cuz it's nearly impossible finding parking around here at night. I've only had one problem, when my side-view mirror got bumped, and the cover popped off and the blinker lense broke...I ordered the replacement parts, which include everything but the motor, and it cost me $150

there's a RS1 Lava xB parked on Blanken, usually on the side facing towards the 7-11 on Arleta/San Bruno/Bayshore. I see it every morning on the way home from work.

We just had a Celica - Scion Meet which wasn't too big bc the turnout for the Celica was actually kinda small. We only had about 3 Celicas showed up. But the turn out for the tCs was great. I'll maybe see if we can work something out for Janruary. I'll see if I can move the meet location to Oakland or not to make a lil closer to SF in some ways.

supposely they do have a lifetime warantee on the fading and bubbles. I did mine for 100 also but never had gone back to redo it since they did a pretty good job. But look for a guy name David, which owns a tC also. He should hook you up. remember to bring cash.

Best Image actually used two pieces of tint for doing the rear window to get a clean install. My friend in the other hand went to the same place and got one peice a year before I got mines done. I guess it's much better to have two for getting rid of bubbles and etc.

I'm not sure what tint do they used but I remember someone said they used Madico or something... I know it started with a M. Or at the shop they also have the 3M display so it can also be that.

^ $100 bucks is a great deal. They did a great job on the tint job. Actually on the other hand my celica buddies had some bad experience with them.... but aside for all the tC guys that I know that gotten the tint done there had positive feedback.

Yea. I went pretty early last time on a weekday and they finished in 1 1/2 hours just as they promised. Looks great, no bubbles or anything like that.

I seriously feeling guilty publicly saying the 100 dollar deal since they probably arent making as much money as they should be making.

i'm originally from san jose but i go to school in san francisco, SFSU. not liking it so much because it is a commuter school and there isn't much to do, besides drink. well i guess i'll be more happier when i get my tC can't wait.... 3 weeks yay!

hey rice, best image didn't do a good job tinting my windows. i got small bubbles and the back windshield gets bury. i'm going back to get them fix it. does ur back windshield get blury too, especially at night.

Sorry to hear that. They must have been rushing it.

just a question though, is it blury in the back when u got it tint? cause mine is blruy in the back.

Nope. Mine had a bubble in one window but disappeared the next day.

it might be foggy or there maybe some small bubbles when it's first put on, but a day or two in the sun should make them go away. heat is tint's best friend.

i would give it a week.. if it doesn't go away, go back to your tinter and make them redo it.

i'll give it one more week.

Most of San Francisco doesn't need to pay for street parking.

That's cause there IS NO street parking. Union Square, Market street, Metreon, Stonestown, etc...

I can help you with getting the headlights out. Pretty easy to do. I have tools if you don't.

i'm in that area quite a bit on the weekends, sometimes during the week....i don't recall seeing a tc on dubs unless u keep it garaged.....i see a TON of stock tc's sitting on the street ...19th, 20th, 21st....all the way through like 27th between irving like all the way past ortega st.

there's a white tc with ped spoiler, factory lip kit and tyc's usually sitting near 11th and geary

mY dad on MIssion and 9th SF PIZZA we,ve been in that locaton for around 3 years...............431-0800..............
