Found a great deal on the Scion xB AeroGear WideBody Kit. If I go with it I will be molding the whole kit on at my dads shop out in Fort Worth, so I will be saving the extra money on that and paint. So all I will have to pay for is the Body kit itself. Or if yes, mold or not to mold kit?
What do you local guys think. Doing it to represent for us! Let me know what you guys think.

more importantly, what suspension setup do you have and what is your wheel and tire combo going to be?
thats more important than the looks of the kit IMO. without a right stance, that kit will look like crap and a half.

Well I am going to be going with a full Air Ride Kit. And 19's or 20's.
Yea, on the back bumper the one thing i dont like is the exhaust cut out. I will be molding it where it isnt so 90 degree angled.
I am thinking I might not like it myself once installed. That was the reason why I was thinking to leave it unmolded then if it looked ok painted to match the ride then leave it alone. If not decide to mold it or remove it.

while i like the wide bodykit idea i hate how the tires always stick on soo far inside...

i would go no then for your option of a widebody unless the wheels that are ridiculously wide and low offset or something like that. the wheels need to be flush with the outter fender, and if theyre not, they look like CRAP!
you should do some nice 18x9s with 10 offset or something like that and make it look like it fits. dont just go for size. the look is all in the stance. make it flush with the outter fender or please, dont do it at all.
it would be a disgrace to the kit, just like the blue one is with those wheels.

I have 20s on there now. Going to be going with another set all together. Where would I look for rims at the 18x9 with a 10 offset at? Willing to buy a set to make it look real clean. Wanting to go threw with it since I have yet to see one look real clean with the kit. Plus havent seen one in person yet with the kit on it at all in my area.

talk to Autofashion on here or PM Mybox. Maybe he can get you a set. Youll want to ask them what the best offset would be since I was just throwing out an example. It will have to be custom ordered though and VERY expensive Im guessing.

Man, Brandon you are wasting no time to pimp-out your xB!!
The wide-body would look hella different! (Wish I could see it painted on)
BTW...how'd that thing go w/ SAI? I'm wanting them to do some stuff to my car as well...

Just food for thought, if you want your wheels to meet close to your fender lips, you need to be REALLY careful with your air ride.
If the wheel comes out to the fender lip, then you would have to cut your factory outer fender well in order to tuck... Now then if you don't want to tuck... you should be golden.
As far as molding goes... just make sure its mounted solid, between the low pro tires that I imagine you'll be running, and the firm ride you'll get from the air bags, you'll be jolting and shocking that kit pretty hard. (see: cracks at the seams)
I think I would skip molding it, but hey, its just money right? :eyebrow: :silly:
-Good luck balla!
P.S. and yeah the wheels to make that look right are gonna be higher than giraffe P. FYI

LoL just trying to get the car going.....any way i can!
SAI is a great place. Just really need to go up in there and let them know what you are looking for and they will tell you what they can do how much they will charge and work with you in every aspect of it. Real nice guys all the way around.
