Default Rocker Switches that don't fit in the TC.

Just incase someone else is looking for rocker switches for the TC, a little advice:

4x4 Mods who have excellent service, fast shipping, and a great product - down side this product doesn't quite fit the TC.

You can get the switch into teh OEM space after scraping away slivers of the oem hole sides, but once the switch is in it doesn't have enough space to 'rock'.

So just a warning, they don't fit.

if you're in an XB or XA and need switches these are great - if they fit ?

I'm going to get some lit push-on push-off buttons from radio shack tonight and use them instead.

Lowes has "heavy-duty" rocker switches that fit perfectly and have an OEM look to them.

Yup already had one of those, these were more fancy. With customisable labels, back lit, and one I got was on-off-on, seriously lovely rockers, they just don't fit.

The heavy-duty ones do fit perfectly, although the fancy ones dont You could ask a friend to borrow his drill so u can make the smaller ones fit.

I just got a couple of scion oem style rocker switches from oznium.com. I asked to get two that where on-off-on type and then a standard on-off. I put them in last weekend and they fit perfect.

But none of these "any hardware store in america" rockers look as nice as the 4x4 ones.

I love the on-off-on one I got (except it doesn't fit) it has two areas that light up, one at the top that is big and one at the bottom which is thiner, wonderful design.

You can take the rocker switch apart quite easily, drill out a hole in the plastic, and glue in a 3 or 5mm LED with the tip shaved down, and you will have yourself a custom LED rocker switch.
