Default Just Recieved Creative Comp Cat-back w/Borla Muffler *VIDEO*

Hey all! I finally recieved my cat-back this afternoon. I work till 11:30pm then ill be installing the exhaust when i get home. Ill have picts and videos later!
But to do this i need to know how to pist picts and vids. any help please???

Heres the video:

just to explain. i have NO resonator, NO hiflow cat, NO s-pipe, NO headers.
this kit starts behind the stock cat and runs all the way back.
the first part of the video gives you an idea of the sound before the cat and engine warm up a bit. adn the second part show how it sounds after about 5-8 min of warm up time. the second part of the video doesnt do the exhuast any justice. im going to try and take better video later.
also if anyone has and suggestions on how to fix my 5 min rasp problem please let me know. im thinking just a hiflow cat. or just a resonator or maybe both. would a hi flow cat make the exhaust louder? do hi flow cats help with the rasp? and will the hiflow cat really void my warrenty?

well enough talking. heres the wideo

aight well i just got he kit installed lastnight. at about 3am. drove it around for about an hour or so and it sounds great. i ran into some problems lastnight while insatlling the kit. I snapped one of the "U" bolts that join the midpipe to the cat pipe. so its loose and is rattling around a bit. i made an appointment to get the two pipes welded together tomorrow morning at 8am. just so everyone knows this is the creative compacts catback with the borla muffler. I am retaining the stock cat and have no resonator as of yet. and no s-pipe.. yet. im gonna see how it sounds after i have the muffler broken in. gonna be driving from here (seattle) to pullman to visit my girlfriend so that should be a good break in period. sorry no vids yet becaust i want to get the air leak in the midpipe fixed before i take it. i do have picts that i will post soon.

hey all. just an update. i got the leak fixed last friday and broke in the muffler with about 13 hours of driving this weekend. ths sysetm sounds great, but my only complaint is that for about the first 5-7 minutes before the engine/cat warms up there is a bit of rasp at the mid to higher rpms. im considering a magnaflow resonator. but wanna get a few questions asked first. what size of a resonator should i get? and would a hi-flow cat help reduce that rasp? s-pipe?

did you have any problems with the fitment of the midpipe through the channel on the heat shield before the rear axle flange? Mine hits that no matter how I turn it or angle it away. If I turn the pipe one way the left side hits...If I go the other way the right side hits. kind of annoying when you crank the engine and you hear thump thump thump thump vrooooooom! I have it minized as much as possible. Next step...hammer the heat shield out of the way...which I do not want to do.

I have the full system with the s-pipe and the resonator and the high flow cat...with borla muffler. Sounds awesome.

pghtc...
i didnt have any fitment problems. while i was installing the kit i had problems with the axle back hitting the rear axle but solved the problem by pushing the whole unit back a bit. and that seemed to solve the problem. you shouldnt neek to mess with the heat shield. do you have the hanger sitting all the way throught the rubber hangers. mine sit about half way though. dont know if any of this would help but i thought id try. good luck man..

and to answer the question the tip sticks out about 1 - 1.5 inches from the rear bamper.

Poor quality homemade mandrel bends huh?

I guess Im not sure what youre comparing it to but it looks much better than what most muffler shops would be able to do. It may not have the fit and finish like the draxxas system, but when you consider they are outsourcing the parts and giving a lot of customization options made to order its a very nice system.
