Default Whistle ? in CAI

Hey guys hows it going ?
well I Bought my first upgrade a INJEN CAI. i installed it my self it was pretty simple well maybe the reason being that i kept it as a short ram intake do to the tropical storm in southern cali.and I Must say sounds great i feel the power cant wait for the other mods.
I did notice one thing i here a wistle when i start to take of at first it sounds like its sucking air and depending on where i have my rpm's the wistle comes back .
is this normal for INJEN

has anyone came across the same issue that is if it is an issue?

lol if you hit the throttle at the sweet spot when shifting some people could confuse it for a BOV :D

You should only hear the whistle if you accel kinda hard. I believe it's the air being sucked into that one spot at a fast speed. Kinda like how when you whistle with your mouth you're just blowing air through a small opening (your mouth) at a fast speed.

a funny story:

I was at a red light another tc pulls next to me no big deal whan the light hits green we both take of ,we wernt racing or anything but at the next light we had stoped and the otherr guy asked me if i had installed a turbo, i had told him no that it was my injen CAI (converted to short ram). i guesse it sounds like a turbo kit

I don't know. Maybe you should take it back and have it looked at just to be safe.
