Bazooka sub??
all depends on what model of the bazooka you get... spend the extra $$$ and get the good one... there is the EL series and the RS series, at least when i got mine, the RS sounds better...

everyone will have their own opinion on what the think sounds good, what sucks, etc... i think the bazooka's sound good enough for me, then again, i dont listen to rap, r&b, or any other music that the bass line overpowers the music (at times)... try and find someone that has one, go to a car audio place and listen to what they have... good luck...

i had a 10 inch bazooka in my 98 Bug and it sounded decent. I don't blast the radio. i just want it to sound good. I think they want to know if the tC bazooka is any good. Is that sub an rs sub?
I agree. Depends on what kind of base you are looking for. I spent $225 for a new Scion factory sub and installed in in my wife's XB. It is not a bass monster but:
1. It definetely makes the factory stereo sound better as it fills in the bottom end
2. Easy to install and easy to take out for extra room. Unplug it and remove a couple of screws

the dealership sub is a powered EL, but if you are looking for something to just sound nice, but not rattle everything, thats all you need, doesnt sound bad, just depends on what you are really wanting... basically what gaffman said...
i have the tC specific bazooka sub.
it is pretty good, i have no complaints. it hits good and makes the stock stereo sound WAY better. not gonna win any contests with it though.
i can be heard from within a house while i am about 3/4 houses down, and my co-workers could here me from inside the building where i work, thru kind of wall that they use for 18 wheeler loading bays, thick concrete brick wall. i assume that this is pretty good as I wasn't expecting these comments, I have not heard it from these locations, this is what I have been told.

overall the bazooka sub in my eyes, is just overpriced things they add to the options list, it's medicore at best, but if you're not a sound nut, it's good at what it does.
it's like computer speakers, if u compare generic speakers with a subwoofer to a logitech 400 watt system.
all depends on your ears and what you wanna spend.

I was always told you get what you paid for. In this case, im expecting the same.
If memory serves me right the upgrade is 400 bux.....for that price go to Bestbuy and get an Amp/Sub package that will be way better than the bazooka at the 400 dollar range.
