Default Underdash LED's

I rode in a friends Xb with the dealer installed Blue LED's under the dash. They are kinda cool. I would like to add these to my car (not Scion)

Is there a place online to buy these exact LED tubes at a reasonable price? I dont need the switch and stuff only 2 of the light tubes. I know I can buy some LED's at Autozone or Pepboys, but I really like the ones in the Xb. They seem to be just bright enough to give a nice glow, but not to blinding.

Thanks,
AZ

There are a couple vendors on this site who sell good kits at good prices. I'll let them chime in.

Moved to Interior.

Here's a link: http://www.oznium.com

If you want subtle, put 2 or 3 of these LEDs on each side:

You can put them in other places like door pockets, door handles, speaker grilles, etc

if you want blinding...
http://www.oznium.com/cathode-kit is good! great value

Thanks to those that replied. I will check out some of the suggestions. Oznium suggested if I want subtle lighting to just install 2-3 LED's. That sounds like an inexpensive and easy way. But... I was thinking that just a LED or 2 would show up more like a small spot lights instead of a 'glow". That is why I was thinking I need a tube. Oznium, do you think 2-3 LED on each side will give the subtle glow that I want?

THanks,

Yea a few LEDs will give the glow you want

They have a fairly wide angle. And you can get fancy and shave down the tops so they are flat. It will disperse even more.

If you want something subtle, UV is very cool. Maybe UV cathodes would work well.

for $15 you can get two sets of 4" cathodes that will be bright but not over kill

Personally I think that the thodes will be a cleaner glow, but I don't think you would be disappointed with the LED's I hear his are brighter then all hell

oznium led's are crazy. i bought 20 and mounted them in my speaker grilles, under my dash, in the cup holder, and around my sub and amp set up and they look insane. the price is phenomenal too. just remember that a few is all you need. they are much brighter than some other leds i've seen.

i think it cost me around $20.00 including the led's and other stuff i bought from radio shack. you really can't go wrong. and sanding the head of the leds will help disperse the light just enough. it's a good tip. i say go for it.

Ok,

Thanks again all. I think I will give the LED from Oznium a try.
