I am currently looking into getting a Double Din head unit for my scion tc. I have looked at the Kenwood DDX7017 and DDX7015 and also the ones by Pioneer. I was just wondering if anyone knows about any that have 2 disc slots. One for cd's and dvd's and such and the other for navigation. This way you can have the best of both worlds. Is there something like this out there? If so let me know.....Thanks everyone.

 

The AVIC-D1 has two disc slots.

 

Secondly....I am doing the installation myself and wanted to know how to make it so I am able to play dvds while driving and change the navigation while driving? I know its a certain wire that you have to switch to a different ground but I am not sure. Also any info on how to get the console apart without damage would be helpful. Thanks

 

The kenwood doesn't have 2 slots because it requires a sepearate navigation unit. I order to watch dvds while the vehicles is moving you have to ground the parking brake wire.

The eclipse 5435 has 2 slots one for cd the other for dvd/navigation. The eclipse 5495 has 2 slots one for cd the other for dvd, navigation is on the harddrive.
