MAF is the little black square sensor that bolts onto the intake tube.

take it out, inspect the diodes etc for dirt or grime.. clean with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip, and let dry..

Mine did the same thing when I first changed out intakes, but it stopped doing it after a few weeks. I don't think it has to do with the MAF being dirty.

It may not be.. but remember, when the MAF does eventually get dirty, the engine will run like that.

did you reset your ECU by disconnecting your battery?

I unplugged mine for like 3 seconds and my ECU reset. I didn't notice that I reset the ECU. When I saw my trip meters at 0.8 miles (I monitor my mileage), I almost ____ my pants..then I remembered the plug came off when I was wiring my ground wires...

The IAT sensor is the yellow and black wire off of the MAF plug.

Hope this helps... =)

you can also reset it by takeing both + side and - side on the battery wires and short them out IF the ECU doesn't reset after 5 sec. doing so this shorts the power still held in the ECU that way it forgets everthing.... 1 thing though this will reset your maintainnece light on the car too so your car will reset everyhting all over again... i had to do this when i was a dumbass and unpluged the MAF plug when the xB was still runnin all my lights inside on the dummy gauges were on... air bag seatbelts TCS teh slippery road car symbol... so your choice use at own risk... nothing bad will happen it will just reset the maintainance as well...
