I was wondering what everyone here would be willing to pay for the RS 1.0 UPPER AND LOWER grills. Either together or seperatly. Im considering selling them. I was wondering waht you guys thought they would be worth.

Actually, they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. I have been watching more and more of them pop up on ebay now .

i like that emblem when i saw the idea of i didnt like it ...looks great now

The hard part is finding the emblem.

after that, it's just a matter of finding some good mesh that is capable of molding into the shape that you want, but have high rigidity to avoid deforming

from there, it's just a matter of cutting it to acommodate the assorted fastening tabs on the bumper.

I opted to keep the OEM chrome trim for a cleaner look, so I ended up having to keep the stock grille as well and just overlayed the mesh above it. it wasn't my first choise, but it saved me a lot of headaches from fitment and fastening issues

then it's just sand/prime/spray

took me a couple of hours on a weekend ... it was a labor of love, but now I have a couple hundred extra bucks to blow on strippers. :rofl:

well the reason dealer's is so overpriced is cuz its one of the features that makes the RS 1.0s stand out from the rest. if they sold it at a more reasonable price it wouldnt make the RS's so limited.

what emblem is that? and where would i look to get one?

my kamei grill on my a6 was _____in, would be nice if someone made a quality grill for our cars...

although I'm curious what the upper grillcraft looks like powdercoated.
