I see lots of these posted on ebay, do they perform OK, or are they junk?

If its the one I think youre talking about (its blue on the ends) I have it, ShowpowJoe has it, and a couple of other people on here. Its cool - good enough. It doesn't look particularly cool, but it gets the job done. Also, you should be able to get it for less than $40 - I think theyre all selling the same one, just diff prices.

After adding shipping they all seem to be around $40. Do they come with install instructions? Do you just take off the bolts and install, or is there a trick to it?

I have the one they are talkin about . it works very good cheap lightweight 1/2 of the TRD I weighed them by the way. its so cheap I went to the local aircraft surplus and made up some trick qiuck release pinsand powdercoated the mounts to natch the pained titanium color of the bar and my wheels. all for under $75.00 It works as good as youll ever need from a scion and my set up looks by far tricker than anything domestic or JDM . iM going to do one up for the rear shocks with custom end-brackets and quick releases why not cheap and fun and I can remove bolth in less than 30 seconds.

If I have it, then you know it's good http://www.scionlife.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif. Originally sold by Scionfx, it does the job as good as it gets and is also somewhat adjustable because you can tighten/loosen the bar and can actually feel a difference when driving hard.

I actually liked the titanium color so much that I had my injen valve color powder coated the same thing. Now all I gotta do is get rid of the light blue ends. I don't like the the contrast with the Navy xB but I know black will work.

When I got mine, it didn't come with any install directions, but its pretty self explanatory (specially if you have a pic of it installed to look at.) I don't know the lingo for the different parts under the hood, but its about six bolts you need to take off and reputt on over the bar - and you'll need to loosen a few others around the bolts that are far back (hard to get those off.) Ya, i'm pretty bad at explaining this stuff 8) - someone else should be able to. Good luck!
