Default stock xB speakers, what size

I was wondering how good the speakers are in the xB, I dont want to add a sub or anything, I just good clean sound. Im curious what size speakers are in there if I had my boyfriend up grade them to 4 ways or something that can handle some base themselves?

The stock speaker sizes are

1. Dash are 4"
2 Front doors are 51/4 but 61/2 will fit with spacers.
3.Rears are 51/4 and 61/2 will fit with spacers.

PM me if you might be interested in a brand new pair of 4" and 51/4 speakers for a really good price!

4 ways typically do not handle bass.. go to a component or a 2 way...

wrong .......

dash are basically 2 inch

doors are oversized 6.5's aka 6.75's.

rears are 5.25's

4's will fit in the dash.
7's and 6.5's will fit in the doors.
and 6.5's will fit in the rear....

So, what's the definitive answer here? 6.5's for the doors and 5.25's in the rear? What does it take to get 6.5's to fit in the rear? I'm building my system now and would like to know this info prior to ordering a bunch of stuff I can't use. Thanks in advance.

Thanks bro. And one more thing, has anyone found out just how much room you have in the front doors as far as speaker depth is concerned? I'm looking at Alpine Type R components for the doors and I believe that they are almost 3" deep. I just want to make sure that it will fit and that I'll still be able to roll my window all the way down.

I am sure the Crutchfield sells the Type R, go to their site and enter the XB and it will tell you what the depth is, hope this helps! Also there is enough room between the door grill and speaker if you neede to add a MDF spacer, I am pretty sure 3 inches will fit without.
