Did ya see the honda they did for the girl who lives with her grandma ... Purple velour interior ... I laughed my ___ off. It looked so ghetto. Was def. some 70's pimp ride action inside, and outside with all the import goodness overdone. You see that wing on the back?? was like a foot off the car... completely useless. West Coast Customs has to have better taste than that.

yeah, like above, you have to want your car to be dumb when its finished. But more importantly it has to be a hoop ride (beat up pos) before they even take a look at it. Anyone see the mistibishi mirage where it was a 900 dollar car and they put color change paint and 20000 into it. so crazy

Sorry, you can't have your car 'pimped' unless its a complete heap before they get their hands on it. They put 20 grand into a car where the engine can barely haul the new products... *slaps MTV*

Wait for that new show coming on Discovery where they steal your vehicle and spend a load of money on it

West Coast Custom got skills... Just not too creative... I guess this is pressure from MTV having to coupe with the hip hop culture...

Seriously, not everyone likes chrome rims, especially people who are into imports... I live in SF and I can only find die hard domestic fans only if they ever drove the original muscle cars that made domestics a legendary name... I barely see chrome anything except on SUV where the buyers of such cars are the muscle heads that love V8s...

If the selected people on pimp my ride have any say, I guess the end results would be much worst as they are all MTV bred *pimp slapped by MTV programming* wussies :D It'll probably end up with either the most out rageous kit or the most vinyl the car is legally suppose to have before it becomes a road hazard... (the selected people have no love for a car since they drove that bucket before hand :()

I've seen other works of West Coast Customs... I must say that when given instructions and or more freedom, they can do wonders...

As for the new show that steals your car... Are they seriously doing it out of the blue or are they agreed upon first by people at least mailing a PLEASE STEAL ME letter to producers? If they don't agree with it at least sometime before, I don't see how getting it all on video would help them in a law suit if there ever comes a chance for one... Also, how cool would it be to steal Grandpa's Buick or Grandma's Oldsmobile and pimp that out with 26" spinners and say 4 15"s in the back and engine swap it to get 500 hp??

Now I'd pay to see that on a pay per view basis!! (or not LOL)

Hey I got a 1985 Corolla Coupe with pale blue interior! Y'all think I got a chance of havin them transport my car from New York to the West Coast to have them pimp my ride? It's a stick shift too, so they could put velour interior racing seats with a massage chair and a velour with diamond crusted shift boot, and huge 26" chorme rims, jack the car up about 6 inches, put TV's EVERYWHERE, even in the steering wheel, then custom pain the car with a metallic mint green gloss paint and then I could call it GODZILLA!!! haha, oh and you know I'd DEFINITELY need the Karaoke machine in the trunk like they did for that one kid. Lemme know what y'all think!

You have to be 18 to 22, live in southern california, send in a picture of yourself and your car. They are looking for different cars, not the same car over and over. Your car has to be crap on wheels, and you have to have a nice face with a good reason for help. In the end youll have a car with horrible chrome wheels, in most cases horrible paint and interior, and pointless crap that has something to do with your "story" ie dog bowls in the trunk. The only real good thing you walk away with is a tv and a nice system. So your crap on wheels will turn into a shiny bucket of expensive crap someone will probably steal. If I see a mirage with a tv in it....I might just take the tv... West Coast Customs does clean work but they mostly work on suvs and luxury cars with the hip hop vibe. They aren't the smartest, since they say alot of things that arent true, ie they don't make rims for classic mustangs....which also happens to be the only car that looked halfway decent...
