Default exhaust for my xB

does any body know about or have experience with this system i found on ebay? it is supposed to be greddy knock-off by Yoshimura. if thats true i've got a yosh on my bike and couldnt be happier. yoshimura web site makes no mention of vehicle exhaust. the ebay seller is weaponspeed.com. any dealings with these people? just dont want that hideous civic sound when the engine winds up! my STIHL trimmer sounds better! xB is just a commuter so i am trying not to want to spend the $$$.$$ for the Greddy, although i've heard a lot of compliments on it though..

have you looked at the Strup products?

I just got a Borla installed but Strup is what i would have gotten if I had the cash right now to do it

Scion gets a lot of aftermarket support though so you could be onto something where that company is throwing out a Scion exhaust in hopes of cashing in on the Scion enthusiasts......could be!!

Hey, i strongly recommend JIC. Although it is expensive compared to most others out there, (HKS exhaust is very similar to JICs) its worth it IMO. The sound is nice and steady, very aggressive sounding when you add i/h. I was caught off guard with the sound of it, it doesn't sound a 1.5l.

Also:
My intake - AEM CAI
My header - DC Sport
My exhaust - JIC Spartan

Automatic tranny, dyno'd at 104whp @ 4,200rpm like my sig states. I believe thats a pretty high number for an auto. I like my set up.

okay i know this is an OLD thread, but maybe this will help people in the future when they search(like i did to find this)

so BACK ON TOPIC.

im a member of a tiburon forum and we had the same contemplation. I was very familiar with the REAL greddy exhaust system since my good friend had one. well, another one of my friends purchased the knock off by yoshimura and i couldnt tell the difference. fitment was nice, sound was the same, looked the same cept no greddy laser etching.

hope this helps.

I don't know about this exhaust but I'll definitely be concerned about rubbing.
