The last show of the year is at Firebird Raceway and presented by Sport Compact Only!!

I will be meeting with the owner and sales manager in the next few weeks to discuss the details of the event and try to work some details out that everyone here that participates should like to be apart of.

I will be there.. I need to find out what time the show starts and ends though. I have a Xmas party I have to go to that night at 5. I went to the SCo site and it dont really say anything about the show on there flyer. Just that they are having one and more to come.

It looks like we have 23 SCIONS signed up, let’s take the group trophy. I suspect that Garage shop customers will be attending to clean house. SCO throws a good time, this will be my first time at Firebird. I’m going down the track!

Because of various unresolved scheduling conflicts, most notably with the drifting exhibition, we have decided to cancel the SCO Night event scheduled for Saturday, December 10. As you all know, we have worked hard to market the next event as an even grander follow-up to our highly successful June 25th Drift, Drag & Show event. As an example, we passed out hundreds of passes and thousands of flyers at Hot Import Nights inviting enthusiasts to what we then called “Drift, Drag & Show II.”



Given the high visibility and popularity of the drifting exhibition, we think it would be grossly unfair to charge attendees for a show that is substantially less than what has been advertised. Unfortunately, charging a smaller admission fee is not an option, so we feel that it would be best to redirect our efforts to the next SCO Night event, which will occur in late winter or early spring (exact date and time are yet to be finalized). Of course, all valid discount coupons and car show passes for December 10th will be honored at the next event.



On a brighter note, because we realize that many car clubs and individual attendees have already made plans for the 10th, we’ve decided to throw an “SCO Holiday Bash” from 2 to 5 that afternoon right here at our headquarters. Everyone, especially car clubs and show car owners, is invited. We should be able to accommodate approximately 65 cars in a fully judged car show, plus we can provide space for up to 10 car clubs to pitch tents in our parking lot. Food and drinks will be available, and the SCO Angels will be on hand to pose for hi-res portraits with cars in the car show. Finally, we’ll be giving away lots of freebies, t-shirts, and door prizes. Roll-in will be at 1:30 and judging will start at 2:30.

Well with both Barb & myself working "retail" it makes it alittle tough to make
these saturday events. I might be able to show up but not as a contestant.

It will be at SCO head quarters off of 40th and the 10 freeway. They want us to roll in at 1:00 a half hour before the rest of the clubs. They will have a judged car show with Trophies, got it Randy!

Roll in is at 1:00 pm, this is ahead of the rest of the clubs as 1:30. We have reserved space up front. If you can not make the 1 pm roll in and your coming but will be slightly late let me know so that we hold a spot (as a group) for you. It will be a blast and everyone should come out.
