I have recently checked all the bulbs, and speakers in my box, in plans of replacing all of them, and here is what i found out... 2005 xB

Bulbs:

Headlights- h4 (55/60w)
Fog Lights - 9006
Front Turn Signal - 1157 (dual contact)
Reverse - 7440
Rear turn Signal - 7440 (amber)
Brake - 7443 (21/5w)
3rd Brake Light (aka High Mount Brake) - 921
License Plate lights - 168 (5w)
Rear Red Markers - (i couldn't get off, so i didn't check these if there are even any in there)
Front Clear Signal - 168
Dome Light - DE3125

Speakers:

Front in Dash - 3.5" (capable of fitting 4")
Front Door Panels - 6.5"
Rear Quarter Panel - 5.25"

thats it. I took apart everything and held them in my hand, so i am pretty sure they are correct. I did read the tech forum, but they didn't list everything, and the rest of the posts in it sounded like they were arguing over bulb sizes. So i decided to post one up completely listed.

actually the front doors are oversized 6.5's aka 6.75

 

Moved to ICE/Electrical

 

i can understand how this could be moved into ICE / Electrical, but i think it is a better post in the General xB area. But hey, if a mod wants to move it, i don't want to be banned...so go right ahead.

 

i just installed LED lights in place of the stock bulbs in the rear License plate section, and 194's fit, with a little forceful push. (it won't harm the plastic harness, just needs alittle more cajolling then the stock bulbs.)

i used SPW : NXL LED lights. they are stock number SPW70.15.14 for the blue, and SPW70.15.04 for white. The blue look sweet.

 

aren't fog lights for the xB the 9006s?

my fogs are: Sylvania Silverstar 9006ST

 

I am confused.

The SILVERSTARS I picked up yesterday were the 9006 series (I have an '06 xB) and Kragen's customer service department said they are the correct size.

For a 2006.....what is the correct bulb size?

yes the factory fog lights are 9006's. the foglight set i saw were not factory i found out and forgot to change the bulb size.
