30k? 50K? Even more?
Has anyone hit 30K miles yet? 50K? Even more than that?
Is there any maintenance you are doing beyond what is recommended in the owners manual? Some of the intervals seem kind of high to me, but than again, I went from a 64 GMC pickup to an 06 box so I might have to catch up to the times.
Any issues with hoses, belts or anything else?
Cheers!

well to give you just a sort of idea on Toyota quality....of course this is ONE view I confess.
I had a 2000 toyota corolla, auto. I drove from CA to FL, drove from CA to Albuquerque NM 3 times, used to live in Oceanside CA and work in Irvine CA driving down the 5 fwy every single day when I was in CA.. (someone help me with miles its been a while)
# of problems in that 5 yr period? = zero
All I ever did was change the oil every 3k (personal preference) and changed the air and oil filters...thats it!
Oh I had 63,000 miles on it when I traded it in @ Keith Pierson Toyota in FL...I think its sold already in a week lol, unless its sitting somewhere else on the lot.

Someone here has an xA with about 150,000 miles on it now. They posted up a pic a couple of months ago. If I remember right they said it was still very smooth sailing!
I'm at nearly 22,000 on my box. All systems nominal!

I part exchanged a Celica with 110,000miles on it for my TC, it was probably 5k away from needing some serious clutch work, other than that it had had nothing but accident body work repairs and oil (it was my wifes) it ran very nicely.
Here's on on eBay with 61K.... And it shows...

Asking way too much for it.

Great...so besides the clutch, everything should be smooth. Good to hear even more about the reliability of Toyota.
I too am looking at oil changes every 3-4K or every 6 months. Some might call it a waste of money but I think of it as cheap insurance.

Just got the oil changed today for the first time at 4500 miles. Not a hitch yet and sounds like I am in for some more mileage of no cares. I bought my xB at the end of August 05. Life has been good so far!
I had a 2000 toyota echo (same engine as the xB BTW) and had it until 132K miles. I had two problems, the water pump died at 92k, and spark plugs at 100k which was my fault. I know the person I sold it to and it's still running strong and getting 39.26 MPG vs my gas guzzler xB at 33MPG
wow...150K??? damn, thats alot of driving.....i hit 48000 a few days ago...car runs great!!!! Since i bought it a couple years ago ive been using that mobil clean oil....(can go 7500 between changes) Can is a good as when i bought it..
