i'm looking for an in dash dvd player right now and i'm kind of unsure what to buy. as of right now, i have 2 that i'm looking into. the JVC KD-ADV6160 and the Alpine DVA-9860. they both have all the options i need and the only reason i'm considering the JVC is because it has an aux input in the front, which is definately handy for my ipod. my main concern is sound quality. i want adjustability and both of these have features that are good, but i want to be able to play with everything and i can't decide what will make my system sound best. all my speakers are running on amps so the power of each headunit doesn't matter. so basically, i want to know what everyone out there thinks. the difference in price is about $140.00 but i'd rather just buy a great unit now than regret it later. thanks.

 

jvc kd-avx1 in dash dvd, screen, inputs and outputs. but if your deciding between those 2 go jvc

 

if you have the jvc, could you tell me what you could adjust with the eq? can you mess around with the subs?
