if you had a bent piece of mdf like in the pictures below, would wood glue be sufficient enough to make it subwoofer box worthy? The bent piece would be a half circle for one wall of the box....3/4 inch thick MDF....

don't know about wood glue, but I'm betting if you fiberglassed the inside of the box you'd be good to go...

I agree, wood glue would help a little, but you really need more structure, and fiberglass would be a good choice.

To get a curve like that it seems like fiberglass would be stronger, easier and look better. If you look at the outside of the curve, you can easily see the lines where the cuts were made, so if you planned on painting it it would still have to have a coat of body filler on it.

I wouldn't reccomend just wood glue. Gorilla Glue would work tons better than wood glue, but ,like mentioned above, putting a layer of fiberglass would be best.
