Many of you know I have these on order and it seems like theres alot of interest. I keep getting asked "When are they gonna get here" and " how much longer?" and my answer is "I have no idea!! Wish I knew."

So I sent them an email and here is the latest word as of today!! :D

Hello Robert!

Thank you for your email!

I just emailed you a copy of your invoice, so you should receive that shortly.

As for the status of your order, it’s coming right along!

The Wilwood Front Kit should show up to us shortly. Work orders have been scheduled for your PBC Rear Kit.

At this point, I would estimate your order being shipped within about 2 weeks from now.

If you wouldn’t mind shooting me an email next Tuesday, I would appreciate it (so I can stay on top of this and make sure your order ships sooner rather than later.)

If you have any questions in the meantime, please be sure to let me know!

Thank You For Your Order!

Sincerely,

Joe McLaren

Yeah, and you gotta figure another week for UPS to get them here too, so more like three weeks!!

But they gotta powdercoat all the calipers to match and the rears are made to order so it just takes awhile, otherwise the front set would come straight to my house instead of going to their shop first. Waiting isn't killing me but, the real sucky part is that when they DO get here, it's gonna be freakin' cold out!!! And I HATE workin' in the cold..................

Give me a shout when you are ready to put them in. I just want to come watch so I will know if I want to invest in a set or not  . Just kiddin. I have got alot of tools and might be able to get ahold of a pneumatic brake bleeder.

we can always find a shop to work in, so that no one has to install in the cold, and yes there coming to my house and ryan gets my stock brakes. lol
i may not be able to afford big brakes yet, so i painted my calipers the other day.

Hello Robert!

Thank you for your email!

I just checked up on your order and it looks like most of your work orders will be done very shortly.

Powder coating should happen this Friday, parking brake assembly and spacers should be done tomorrow, and the hats should be done today. The rotors should be ready by the beginning of next week.

If you would just email me again this coming Friday, I would appreciate it (so I can check on this again and make sure stuff got done.)

If you have any other questions in the meantime, please be sure to let me know!

Fri, 18 Nov 2005 13:35:52 -0800

Hello Robert!

Thank you for your email!

I just checked up on your order and it looks like there are still a bunch of parts that need work orders finished up on them before they will be ready to ship.

Unfortunately, at this point I am thinking it may still be another 1.5 to 2 weeks before this all goes out, but it is very possible it could be sooner.

I will keep a note to give you an update about the middle of next week.

If you have any other questions in the meantime, please be sure to let me know!

Hello Robert!

I just finished following up on your order.

It looks like the rotors still need some minor modifications, we still need to get your parking brake assemblies together, and then there’s just a couple of miscellaneous pieces of hardware that need to be fabricated and we’re all done.

At this point, I would probably have to say possibly another week and a half to ship, but it could be sooner since there’s not that much left to finish.

If you have any other questions at all, please be sure to let me know!

Hello Robert!

I just talked to my shop guys and they told me you are very close to being completely done. They have just a few minor things to do on the parking brake calipers and they need a couple of brackets finished and that’s all. They are hoping to finish it by tomorrow, but are unable to guarantee it for me at this point.

I will check with them again tomorrow to see what I can find out and I will let you know.

If you have any other questions in the meantime, please be sure to let me know!

I don't remember the exact date but I think I've been waiting since around late Sept.!!

I'm not interested in stirring anything up for this company, I'm sure their legit. It's somewhat a custom piece and it's always been understood that I would be waiting for them, I had read from some other buyers that it would take around 8wks but I was told by Precision Brakes that it take more like 3wks. That's the part that's kinda upsetting, I really appreciate honesty. :tap:

The people that I've spoken too there have all been really cool helpful guys and their customer service rep has been excellent about keeping me up to date..........hook, line and sinker!!

I don't plan on installing them until March anyways, but if this mild/weak winter holds up, I will do it sooner!! :P
