Default IS THERE ANY ROOM ON THIS FORUM FOR AN OLD F___T ?

We are new owners of a camo xB (2006) and are both 68 years young. Just wondering if there is any room on this forum for old f _ r t s like us-----------actually we are young at heart-----I enjoy this forum------have just put a couple of questions over on tech. about if there is or if there isn't a air filter behind our glove box? (salesman says it has been installed) and another question about a arm rest featured on myscionwarehouse.com . Didn't know how it is installed---it looks like it just slips over existing and into existing rear cup holder----maybe someone out there has purchased one. It says 5 minute installation--------so that sounds like what it does. Thanks everyone PJRACER

Lots of info on the air filter and how to install, change and make your own..... If you have one in the filter tray from the dealer you are one of the few that would have. They do not come that way from the factory. Your user manual tells you how to install and change it. Check the tech section here on how to make your own and save big $$$ over the factory model offered via the dealer. The arm rest, most anyway, will install easily in a few minutes with a couple of screws. Most of the aftermarket parts and those supplied by the dealer come with instruction on how to do it yourself and from what I've seen unless you are installing a turbo kit or the like its usually fairly easy with tools readily available.

Welcome to the crowd!

Wow, I thought I was old - half your age.

Now you made me feel young and reckless again, I'm off to spend some money on something totally frivilous over at ebay.

Ya I 'm old too - almost a half a century -- but I'm young at heart too -- we have
folk's around your age coming to our meet's and they have a blast. We have a great
mix of young, old, and in between that come to just to hang out and talk to other
scion owner's and have a good time and that's what's it's all about!! Enjoy your
new xb -- Peace

I made filter from a roll of carbon replacement filter you cut to size.
Got it from Lowes.
I used an old plastic filter ribs to make the front and back.
Here is one you can cut to size.
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...ABS&lpage=none
You can make four filters for the price of one dealer filter.
And it take the bad smells out of the air.

Well I am 37 today and totally love my xb. I think my Mom might get one soon. Also everyone I see driving one around me is my age or older.
Congrats on your new xb.

I'm 47 with a Cameo XB. Welcome. I've owned and customized a lot of vehicles in my life, but there's nothing like an XB. Well, maybe the 66 VW Bus I had comes closest!

Tien's, Koni's, XM, armrest, gauges, bra, viper alarm, spoiler, lisc plate frame that says "Back off kid. This is not an ice cream truck." Lisc plate 2GOBX.
