Are there any Memphis folks in here? Anyone know of any scion meets in the area anytime soon? Are there any good shops in town for tC mods?? Thanx!

I am in Memphis. I work at Covington Pike Scion and helped start the Memphis Chapter of Scion Evolution. We do not have our next meet planned yet. I will let you know when it is though. As for a place to get good mods at, you can go to Xtreme on Stage because there are at least 2 guys that work there that have Scions. One of them is Kevin McHone and he has a tC also. If you are ever in my area, stop by and say hey. I am always looking to meet new people.

I think i almost bought a car from you. You didnt have any automatics in stock though so i had to go to performance toyota. im sure i will be in there for one of my free oil changes soon. Yeah Ive been to Xtreme but i wasnt real impressed. They really know what they are talking about but they are expensive and slow. I had to wait 6 hrs for them to put on some neons. A stand alone....Mid May sounds good. There are 2 shows scheduled for the 15th of April and I am afraid the pool of folks would be diminished. If there is no other game in town, we will have a bigger turn out.

That works for me and I will make sure to get the Memphis crew there. Where would you like to do it? Do you want to try for Nashville? We could even go a little south of Nashville to make it more convenient for you since that would probably be closer for us too.

I'd suggest Lynchburg and tour Jack Daniels, but there are no hotels worth a crap.....If you have any contacts in Nastyvill, that might be the best place. Shhot, since we got the Interstate paved, it's an easy drive.... :lol:

I know Tony real well. You will not meet to many salespeople as nice as him. We do dealer trades with him all the time. Next time you see, slap him for me though. He will get a kick out of it for sure. As far a SE goes, all you need to do is fill out the application you can get from www.scionevolution.com and mail $40 to the address I would give you. DO NOT MAIL IT TO THE ADDRESS ON THE APP. It is not the right address since it has recently changed. After that you will be able to get all of the membership discounts and benefits. You can meet with us anytime we have a meet though. I do not know when our next meet will be, but I will keep you informed about where and when they are going to be.

I am like you in that I know Flying Saucer all to well. I have not been there in a while, but I used to go quite a bit. Have you ever seen the band Nation play there? They are an awesome band and used to play there quite a bit. I also think they are going to put another one out in Cordova by Wolfchase. I do not know when they are planning on opening though.

yes guys if y'all are ever in memphis give us a shout. if anyone wants to see us we will be in the germantown christmas parade next weekend in germantown tn. I think it starts at 12 so come out and see us if youcan. also youcna catch some of us hanging out at all around sounds in southhaven miss where gothbox works.
