Default Factory iPod upgrade radio Q

I have the 2 dial upgrade radio w/iPod cable.

It says in the online brochure that you can control the pod w/ the HU or steering wheel controls. I looked today in the light (picked the car up last night @ 8pm)and do not see any steering wheel buttons. Did the dealer miss something? Or is this a typo in the factory brochure? Any one with the upgrade HU have steering wheel buttons or??

deloreanz,
This HU has the (almost) equivalent of the scroll wheel. The left multi function **** allows up/dn/lt/rt w/push to select and turn to scroll. Only knock is that it does not have the ipod's "fast forward" when scrolling down the list. With 4000+ tunes, the "Z's" take awhile to reach. It does not go in reverse from "A".

Hmmm... Do you have the '06 tC? Mine has buttons for +/- Volume, ^/v which control track skipping, and "mode" which switches between AM/FM1/FM2/Aux. I thought these were standard on the '06 steering wheel.

PS - Don't you mean the right multi-function **** acts as the scroll wheel? The **** on the left side is for volume. The right side wheel you can push in, turn left/right, and click up/down/left/right, although I haven't actually seen any uses for clicking it down yet.

Default Damn!

Yes, its an '06. Dealer must have missed the switches. Gonna call at lunch today! I just wanted to be sure that it did exist before raising heck.

Can anyone post a pic? Did not see it on line...pdf brochure or photo gallery.

And, yes, I did mean the right ****! My baaad. I am just so excited that the FM modulator piece of @%#*! is gone now! My land cruiser had an aftermarket HU w/line in and what a difference from the transmitter junk. I am glad that Pioneer/Scion used the true line out signal from the dock connector.

Update:
Oops, I have an xB. Forgot to mention that. The steering wheel controls are only going to be available from the factory-after the first of the year for the xB. Along with side mirror turn signals. The manager is checking to see if I can get this installed then. I am hoping for the same price, as it is mentioned on the Scion site as of my date of purchase. I am going to take another look at the web site pdf brochure for the xB.

I really don't see how a dealer could have "missed" this... I am 99% positive these come from the factory, as the Scion should have these standard no matter what radio package comes with the tC.

*EDIT* An xB? Yeah, that would probably do it. Don't know nothin' 'bout no boxes!

Thanks for the photo! Yeah, I'm a Box Pilot.

I think that I am SOL on this. Must be a typo on the brochure or something that is coming on later '06's? Hmmm, wonder if I did get an '06? Better go check!
